The Inn at Dromoland

Didn’t stay in the hotel but the leisure centre is abysmal. The sauna was cool, the steam room isn’t working and the jacuzzi was cold. For a centre after undergoing a “major renovation it’s simply not good enough.

Overall a very nice overnight stay. We went on the back of an offer on Rory’s travel and was very reasonable therefore our expectations were not that high. However the hotel staff made our stay exceptional. Every one of the staff we engaged with were very customer focused and friendly. We had dinner as part of the package and a bottle of wine, but we had some chowder and soda bread in the bar when we arrived during the day. The Chowder was amazing filled to the top with a range of fish. 10/10. The Dinner choice was limited but again it was part of a package deal but what we had to eat was again very good. It was great to see a hotel so busy with families all availing of the swimming pool on site. I would definitely return for the service we received and the manager of the hotel should be grateful for the staff working daily in this hotel.

The pool, spa and leisure facilities were excellent, after a March 2026 refurbishment. Highly recommend. The staff on reception and in the restaurant were friendly, kind and knowledgeable (about the area).
