"Very comfortable, relaxing stay in St Lucia"

8.0

The location is stunning, with a really nice beach. And not too far (but still a drive) to a lot of decent restaurants. The accommodation works really well for a family of four. Very comfortable 2 bed apartment, big living area etc.

The swimming pools are very small. Not a massive issue given the beach is so nice. But when it is busy (as it was over Xmas and NY) you do have to get up early to get a chair (I do get up early so not a massive deal). You had to wait a long time for food (which was generally of a high standard when it arrived) - and the food is pretty expensive (although in line with all the decent restaurants in the area).

"Our butler, Peronilla made our trip special"

10.0

Villa was beautiful. Our butler, Peronilla was fantastic. She really went out of her way to make our vacation memorable. Suru was excellent Asian food for dinner. Breakfast was nothing special. Typical buffet. Beach and water sports provided by hotel were excellent.

"Amazing Family stay at Landings Resort"

10.0

Our family of 4 (kids aged 17 and 10) stayed at the Landings resort for a week in December. We had booked a 2 bedroom beachfront suite - this turned out to be amazing accommodation - really spacious with both bedrooms ensuite and a whole separate living area and full kitchen. We had booked all inclusive so did not really need this but if you wanted to do self catering this had everything you needed. The accommodation was very high end as well and came with a beautiful view over the beach. The resort itself is definitely 5 star - it has its own private beach with watersports and a swim up pontoon. The sea is extremely calm and it meant that our kids spent more time in the water than ever before and we pretty much spent all our time on the beach. There are various pools around the hotel but we really did not use them. The resort has its own marina as well which makes any boat trips you want to take very easy. In terms of food, there are 3 restaurants so choice is a little more limited than some larger resorts but the restaurants were all very nice and mainly a la carte. The asian fusion in particular was a highlight for us. There is also a great coffee shop where you can get sandwiches and salads. Location of the hotel is nice - it is at the northern end of the island so about 1 and a half hours from the international airport. It is very close to the Gros Inlet street party on a Friday night and also to the Pigeon Island National Park which is walking distance away down the beach. The latter has some very nice snorkelling. We hired a car for a few days and took some trips to the Rainforest Adventures for zip lining and to Rodney Bay and Castries for some shopping. You were able to park your car right outside the villa which was a nice touch. Worth noting that you are a few hours away from the Pitons and other attractions at the South of the Island so if you want to see those it is a full day trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We had a butler assigned for our stay who were so helpful and always looking after us. Couple of things to note - it is a quieter place than other resorts, there is some entertainment but definitely lower scale than something like the Royalton. The restaurants were sometimes very quiet at at times some were shut unexpectedly. It is probably worth comparing the all inclusive vs bed and breakfast price to work out if the former is worth the money. Overall give this a try and have an amazing holiday!

We stayed at The landings in May and had a lovely relaxing holiday. We stayed in a 2 bedroomed apartment overlooking the beach, with 2 dedicated butlers Maverick and Pero. Their service was excellent. We took a mixology class which was great fun learning all about rum and cocktails. We enjoyed great food at the restaurants with plenty of choices. Downside: We had 2 minor thefts from our appartment at the start of our holiday. We reported them, statement was taken and we were told it would be investigated with someone getting back to us with their findings. We heard nothing, so it n checkout asked if there was any results and we were told that someone would telephone and/or email us about it. To date we’ve heard nothing; hence why we’ve waited to post this review. Not good for a 5 - star hotel/resort!

"Great resort…spectacular view, friendly staff"

10.0

We have just returned from our vacation and had an absolutely wonderful experience! What a beautiful resort, small and quaint but big enough that there’s lots to do. We had the unit that faces the beach with Butler service. Very much worth the money… Our butlers were Peronilla, Gregg and Antonicius. They were beyond amazing! Our favourite waitress was Aline who always remembered what we liked and always ready with a smile and a hug. Very friendly staff and very helpful. My husband loved his spa experience and our dinner on the beach for his 60th birthday was so dish delicious and special. We used St. Lucia shuttle to get to the resort and back, the landings has a service, but we found St. Lucia shuttle service to be a little less expensive. I would highly recommend staying here, because if it’s smaller size, it isn’t busy and hard to get around like the bigger resorts.

"Sub par, 3-star stay."

3.0

The rooms are large. The water near the property is very blue.

Unfortunately, this place is not close to “5 stars” from any perspective. The quality of the food, amenities, and rooms / common areas are 3-3.5 star, at best. Half of the restaurants and the nicer pool were closed for renovations - which we were only informed of by the hotel AFTER booking a nonrefundable stay. The service is very inconsistent - a handful of people were incredibly friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs, while others are rude when asked basic questions or annoyed when asked a simple request. “5 stars” requires a high level of service consistently, and several employees dampened our moods while on vacation. Overall, I regret booking here - I was blindsided by the bad experience considering how most reviews are very positive. I will not be back, and urge others to reconsider if they are looking for a true “luxury” / 5 star experience.

"Good rooms, terrible food, nice beach"

5.0

Nice rooms although a bit dated and good location

Food was very poor - very expensive and inedible. Had to go to the Cap Maison for food every day which is luckily 5 min up the road
