The Oaks Waterfront Hotel

Everyone and everything was great customer service is at all time best. The Oaks goes out of way to insure nice stay. Food although limited is still fantastic. The grounds are also spectacular. Hats of to Beth?

Everything was amazing at The Oaks. So many places to find quiet and comfort — 2 nd floor deck, pier enclosure, outdoor Adirondack chairs. The welcoming area is quietly and responsibly staffed with beverages available 24/7. Assistance was always available texts answered immediately — nice touch. The luxurious bed and the heated bathroom floor added substantially to our lovely accommodations. The grounds and building interior and exterior were impeccably maintained. Loved our stay and only have scratched the surface on all the extras —pool, bicycles and kayaks. Will return, for sure.

The facility designed was out standing and the staff was very good.

We visited for one night and loved the property. The customer service was stellar—from being personally greeted and cared for, to the kindness shown by everyone from the manager, front desk hosts, waitstaff, and cleaning staff. Everyone was committed to providing a superior experience that far exceeded what you’d typically receive at a hotel. There was a refrigerator on-site (not in the rooms), which was a wonderful amenity. Breakfast, which is included, offers four options—yogurt parfait, omelet, French toast, or biscuits with sausage gravy—from which you can choose. The décor, attention to detail, and even the scent of the property were unmatched. Honestly, it felt equivalent in quality and prestige to the Four Seasons or Ritz, but with a boutique feel. We took advantage of the bikes and rode them nearby. While the hotel is too far to bike to historic Easton or St. Michael’s, there are pleasant side streets for a short ride. Because the property is so quiet and tranquil, we wouldn’t recommend it for families with very active or loud children. We did see guests with young children, but I didn’t notice anyone with multiple kids. Peaceful, mature ambience. Highly recommend without reservation and will certainly be back.

This beautiful property was just two hours from our home but it felt like we were transported a world away. The rooms were lavish and impeccably clean, the Oak Room dining experiences were amazing, and the property grounds were perfectly maintained. My family agreed the crab cake was the best we ever had! The owners and staff were friendly and eager to assist. It is a lovely place that I hope to return to again.

Loved the Oaks! Fabulous accommodations and excellent staff

From the moment we arrived, my wife and I knew we had found a hidden jewel. We were greeted with warmth and great explanations of how to have a wonderful experience. We chose a cabin...which was a bit more expensive AND worth every dollar. Beautifully decorated, soft bed, luxurious bathroom and shower. Georgeoous grounds which are so spacious and filled with color and well manicured. We look forward to going back !!

My husband and I have not been on a "just the two of us" getaway in a long time. We chose the Oaks Waterfront for our birthday / anniversary celebration. We have never had a better hospitality experience. The staff went above and beyond to be sure we were satisfied with our room, and our accommodations were outstanding. Kudos to Lin, Linda, Kathie, and the whole team for treating us like royalty. Breakfasts, Dinners, and Bar experience, all exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much for contributing to our romantic getaway and we will surely be back in the future!

This was our second stay at this incredible hotel and it definitely will not be our last. We visited for our anniversary and were unable to get a dinner reservation at the restaurant we wanted, and the staff was able to make a call and get us the reservation, the time and the table we wanted. That's just one example of their willingness to make sure you have the best experience possible. The decor and attention to detail in regard to linens, pillows, the shower and everything else you can think of are evident everywhere you look. We were given a personal boat ride to St. Michael's harbor in the 40 foot Hinckley yacht belonging to the hotel. We were able to sit outside at any time of the day and watch nature on the Chesapeake Bay at its finest. Don't miss an opportunity to visit The Oaks!

Excellence is the only word to describe this hotel. The hospitality, the culture of servant leadership and service was consistent. Housekeeping, groundskeepers, guest services, bartender to servers were amazing. The hotel is beautiful.
