The Oaks Waterfront Hotel

We had an amazing mid-week stay at "The Oaks". From the moment of arrival until departure the entire staff treated us like royalty. The food was outstanding along with the beautiful decor throughout. Multiple outdoor seating options to relax and enjoy the view. We especially would like to thank Linda and Lin who could write a book on customer Service. We look forward to seeing you soon! I rarely write reviews anymore, but this hotel is really impressed me. From the phone calls prior to arrival, to the friendly greetings upon arrival, this place does everything to make you feel welcome. The renovations are beautiful and peaceful and the grounds are perfectly manicured with views on the water. The outdoor seating gives many options for just lounging by the water. Everyone we met, was so helpful and nice. The room was spacious. We had a deluxe king and the bedding was very comfortable. The only drawback is counter space in the bath. However even the bathrooms are appointed with beautiful tile. Breakfast is included in the dining room overlooking the water. Just wish there were espresso and egg options! Overall aand wonderful wonderful find. We were there for just one night, but will return.

Nestled between Easton, Oxford, and St. Michaels is a stunning hotel on ten acres of beautifully landscaped riverfront property. Our visit was truly memorable, thanks to the delicious food, renovated rooms and common areas, and the exquisite gardens spread throughout the grounds. The breathtaking venue is ideal for weddings, special events, or a peaceful getaway. The manager and staff were welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. This charming hotel offers a storybook experience, and we can't wait to return soon.

Bartender in the pub was fabulous

Look no further for an exquisite experience at one of the finest hotels on the eastern shore of Maryland. The owners’ attention to detail and the friendly staff will make you want to stay longer. Add a canoe ride, paddle board or even a bicycle trip for a bit of extra activity. We will clearly be back yearly to enjoy the friendly environment and the beautiful surroundings. This is as fine a place as you will fine on the East coast.

The Oaks has become our newest favorite place. Our stays there have been thoroughly enjoyable. The rooms are so comfortable and tastefully decorated that we almost don't want to leave them and sight see in a gorgeous part of Maryland. This is our second visit and it could not have been nicer. So often when you return to a location that you've enjoyed so much, it doesn't have the same impact - possibly because our memories create higher expectations than they should. Such was not the case this time - it was even nicer than the first. The staff could not be more accommodating, the rooms wonderful, breakfasts sumptuous and they now have dinners 4 - 5 times a week that are excellent. Their executive chef is the chef/owner of the Bistro in St Michaels - enough said about how good the meals are! We could not recommend The Oaks any more highly - go and enjoy a marvelous get away!
