Sol Cosmopolitan Rhodes - All inclusive

We came during October half term as a family. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. The kids entertainment is on quite late so its not ideal when you have tired kids. The food is lovely and the hotel is a short-ish walk to Old Town. The barman, Mike is lovely and works extremely hard. The only negative is the temperature of the pool...very cold at this time of year

A beautiful holiday, a great hotel for families with children. Lots of attractions for children of all ages. Delicious food, a new menu every day. Plenty of attractions for everyone from lunch to evening. The hotel is right by the sea with a private beach for guests. Our best holiday in Greece, and it's not our first.

Just returned from a 12 day stay at the Sol Cosmopolitan and the experience was first class, from the arrival with the reception team the experience just got better and better. The food was amazing with so much choice and quality it was hard to choose a meal, the staff in the restaurant work so hard to keep the tables clear and ready for the next customer and the whole dining experience was really well managed. The entertainment team looked after every one who wanted to be involved observing a guy that gave the kids full attention even after the games had finished. the girls gave full energy to the aqua gym sessions and people really got involved. The rooms were spacious and maintained daily by very polite cleaners. The only negative was the main road which you don't see on the pictures on line,, although there is an underpass to get to the beach . You are a 8 minute taxi ride from Rhodes town and the old town is a must to see with great shops bars and restaurants with a superb Greek culture to make a perfect day out. All in all The Sol Cosmopolitan is a 5 star easy in my eyes.

Just returned from a break with my family. We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel itself is clean and well looked after, the staff are all lovely and very helpful. The food in the restaurant was of a very good standard and there was plenty to choose from with something for everyone. There was the added choice of food from the pool bar throughout the day too. The location was also good. It was a short walk from some local bars and restaurants and a short bus/taxi ride to Rhodes town. The atmosphere around the main pool during the day is lively with music and entertainment provided by the amazing animation team. Leslie in particular who worked really hard to make everyone feel included and join in the fun. If I had to find a negative it would be that if you like all day sun you will need to get to the pool early otherwise it may be a bed in the shade. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be returning.

Spotlessly clean Staff were amazing Food was great with loads of choice The general manager was on hand all of the time and so helpful and upbeat all the time Would highly recommend The rooms are a good size and the premium rooms on the 7th floor have the most spectacular views Will certainly be coming back

If you are after a cheap and cheerful break, this hotel is perfect. Its good value for money, has great food, and is in an easy location to get the bus to the Old Town or a taxi ride away to a sandy beach. Initially we were a little disappointed with the hotel as it was dated and our room was not great. It was too big and felt a little eerie and there was noises of the pipes all night. The l main pool was noisy, an d surrounded by grass which turned to mud when wet ….so we nearly left. However after speaking to the manager who was incredibly polite, helpful and understanding - he moved our rooms which in all honesty saved our holiday. We were then separate from the main building, the room was more cosy and we had a beautiful view. We sat around the quiet pool ( which i thought was perfect) and overall enjoyed our stay. I thought the food was great, wonderful selection with lots of healthy options. It would have been nice to have watermelon/melon as a fruit as thats popular with children. The pool house pizza was wonderful. We went to Rhodes Old Town ( a must). We went via bus and taxi. We also went to Falaraki beach for the day which was lovely, it had a sandier beach and the sea was warm. Overall the hotel is great value for money. The staff/manager were friendly and helpful. Our children had a wonderful stay, so thank you.

I visited with my family. Staff members are very kind and welcoming. Chef George and his team were excellent and hard working people. Pool was nice and my kids enjoyed it a lot. Also I celebrated my wife’s birthday there and arrangement made by the staff was amazing.

We stayed in a deluxe room with sea view, very clean and the cleaner left the room spotless every day, helpful and pleasant. Around the hotel is well kept and pleasant staff. All the hotel staff were very pleasant and more than willing to please , bar staff very friendly. Hotel location is also very good and easy to get into Rhodes. The really down side to the holiday was the food in the evening, breakfast ok, lunch the snack bar has Pizza that is very moreish. The evening dining is chaos at times with folk waiting to get a table and the staff flat out to clear tables. The food and we are not that picky can be 2 star a lot of the times with folk struggling to get what suits, poor sauces in the dishes, pork, chicken rinse and repeat if they do beef its chewy and lots of fat. Pasta etc can have a watery sauce,lacking flavour. Fish dishes, well better left alone. Deserts are for the best part gunge, defrosted mass produced non healty, not freshly made. Being the main meal of the day this really spoiled it for a few folk we met. Good hotel location and staffing, the food just kills it, folk we spoke to that had come in previous years said it has went down hill badly food wise.

This is our second year coming back for a family holiday and once again everything was amazing! George truly makes all the difference — he is always attentive, and makes us feel at home. The rooms are very clean and food is excellent with such a great variety every day. Thank you to the whole team for another unforgettable stay — we’ll definitely be back!

Absolute amazing staying at Sol by Melia Cosmopolitan Rhodes!!! The hotel is brilliant, the staff are amazing, the food and drinks top notch! George the manager has done it best to welcome us to this lovely hotel ! Thank you George and your amazing staff!
