Hotel Daedalus

The staff was incredibly helpful. The location is perfect for getting downtown quickly. The room and pool were nice.

Good breakfast, nice people, clean. Good location just next to the centre.

Great location

3 star hotel on terms of amenities, services, conditions and location. It does not have a temporary stop for cars an taxi so we had to drag luggages about 100 meters. Breakfast is 1 star. Shower water was either too hot or too cold. We had experienced noisy night as the next room was fighting in the corridor all night.

Pros: A short walk to the main square where there are restaurants and shops. Due to our early flight departure, we had to check out at sparrow’s fart, they were kind enough to organise a breakfast doggy bag for us, which was ace. Breakfast is varied and it seems like the kitchen is the most functional aspect of this hotel. Cons: When we checked in, we found the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned (opened up soap, wrapper strewn, bath mat crumpled on the floor and (GASP) toilet paper in the loo. Major no no on the island. They fixed it up for us but that’s the last thing you want to have to deal with. You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression. Someone else’s hair remained in the shower recess for the entire length of our stay. I purposely did not complain to see whether at some stage the bathroom would actually be cleaned properly. No chance. If you are a light sleeper, do yourself a favour and look for alternative accommodation IMMEDIATELY. The walls are paper thin and you can hear the racket in the corridors or in adjacent rooms. So much for rest and relaxation. We could hear the phone ring in reception! Want to laze by the pool. Sure! The hotel is situated on a busy road so all you’ll hear is traffic and bus horns. I felt like I was in Bangkok, not sexy Santorini! Finally, the room was small, dark and dingy and just felt claustrophobic. No exhaust fan or windows in the minuscular bathroom either. Go forth and select somewhere else to stay...

Not a 5 star hotel. Absolutely no amenities, dirty floor, bed and bathroom. No blow dryer. Staff seemed miserable. One moment they try and help you, next they don't care. Absolutely no information given at the front desk.

Great location, breakfast,and pool!!!!!! We loved everything about it!

I enjoyed the proximity of the hotel within walking distance to center of town. I didnt like the cost or logistics of the hotel shuttle. The rooms are very small and the balconies didnt allow for any privacy. Children were loud in the hallways. It would have been nice to know in advance that the hotel restaurant is only open for breakfast buffet, that the rooms are small, I thought I was getting a much bigger space for the amount of money.

The properly overall was beautiful and in a fantastic location. The room size was great and we got our room serviced daily.. sometimes twice a day! The only thing I didn’t like was that the beds were joined together to create a double bed.. this was uncomfortable as the single bed kept rolling around and it didn’t work for two people. Otherwise, everything else was great and the pool was beautiful and clean.

This was a horrible hotel , that we stayed at. First day of arrival the air conditioner didn't work and the room was hot and smelled like mold, we had to keep calling until the switched us to a new room. The new room smelled also, I had to spray my perfume around the room to make it smell better. Then the second night the air went out in this room, but the staff said it was fine. Mind you my husband is an AC tech and we own our company, so we know when there is problem with the AC. The breakfast wasn't what we expected and the staff was very unfriendly. Worse stay ever at this hotel. Need to see what I can do about getting a refund. They didn't even want to change our rooms when we told them that the AC was not working , my husband had to demand it twice from different staff members.
