Hotel Daedalus

Loved, loved this hotel!!! The hotel was beautiful, clean and had friendly staff. The room was big with a small bathroom though. The breakfast buffet was good. The location was great, close to the main square, taxi and bus stations. The garden and pool area were beautiful. It was only 20 min bus ride to Oia, which ran every 20 mins for €1.80/person. €20 taxi ride from airport. And there’s free parking in front and behind the hotel. Can’t say enough about this place. Would definitely stay here again!!

Would definitely come back and recommend this hotel. It’s walking distance to everything and he staff are very accodating.

Hotel Daedalus is not a five star hotel as indicated on the website but a close four star. The staff are very courteous, helpful and offered excellent service. The hotel is clean and centrally located - close to many good restaurants and shopping. We will definitely recommend Hotel Daedalus for a stay in Santorini. Tour buses pick up guests at this hotel and that is an advantage.

Very good hotel and well situated. Near to caldera view, main square and bus station. Breakfast is very good and our room had a terrace with view on the caldera. Will definitely book again if we have had chance to return to Santorini. Special thanks to the front staff for their patience and previous help.

What is unique? This Hotel went out of its way to help a family in a dire family emergency and thus they upgraded us to another hotel at no additional cost to us (as well as covering several charges for taxis etc). They were not only extremely solicitous of that other family but were equally concerned that we would not be inconvenienced as well. It is our regret that we weren't able to stay at this hotel (even though they placed us in a wonderful hotel) and would absolutely recommend Hotel Daedalus to anyone.

The weather was terrible and our ferry was cancelled so we scrambled to find a place to stay. This ended up being a great hotel and I wish the weather was better because the pool area and seating was beautiful!! The rooms were clean and comfortable with a modern finish. The little touches like robes, a little package with a nail file, toothbrush and toothpaste etc was a nice addition. The location was fantastic - quick two min walk into town and a supermarket, coffee shop and green market with gluten free snacks across the street. Would recommend.
