When i arrived it was my second hotel i booked due to the poor condition of the first. There was still toothpaste present in the sink from the prior people who stayed and hand bands, most likely indicating they didn't really clean the room but i was so burned out and tired from already switching hotels, i dealt with it but wont be paying 120$ for this hotel again

I travel to Killeen, TX for a meeting about 4 times a year. I typically stay in Killeen when I am there. A friend suggested trying a hotel in Copperas Cove since it is a relatively short drive. I am so glad I searched for one. This hotel was reasonably priced. It was a spacious room that had two double beds as well as a sofa (with hide a bed) and a settee. The room had everything you need when traveling on business. I generally find that hotels that run at this price are older and do not have things like usb plugs, flat screens etc.. This hotel had all of those. It had an indoor pool (which I did not try or go to look at). It has breakfast in the morning and even though I did not eat my husband went down and they had eggs and bacon. He was pleased with that. The one thing I thought was an especially nice touch was in the bathroom they actually had shower caps. I typically on a one night stay will not wash my hair because I have to straighten it (ladies you will enjoy this extra). Most hotels will not simply include these type of necessities anymore because it is not cost effective. When I went to thank them at the front desk they let me know it is the owners wife who insist on those things for the room. She deserves a shout out for the little touches. The beds are medium soft. I am a firm bed person but was able to sleep fine on the mattress. The room was well cleaned. There are little reading lights attached to bed lamps that are very practical. There was a fridge with a very small freezer section, so we were able to keep our cooler ice bags frozen. There was a microwave and an iron ...all the typical stuff. This will be our go to place!

The stay was very good with the exception that our room was not made up after the first night.

The hotel was filthy. Walking from front door through lobby to the dirty elevator I felt like I needed hand sanitizer. Makes you wonder if the rooms are that clean. I would only stay there a minimum of one night and only for an emergency in that area. Please clean your hotel up for appearance at least.

The lady at the front desk during the overnight from July 5 to July 6, 2023 was incredibly rude. The gal that worked the previous night on the 4th and a holiday was super nice but the night of the 5th was NOT. She turned lights off on us and when another guest very nicely asked for a blanket she didn’t even look at him or acknowledge his sincere thank you. The lady working that next morning on the 6th was great though. Room was decently clean and the beds were adequate. Breakfast was not great . Waffles did not cook all the way through, strawberry jelly was almost brown, and the eggs were kinda gross. We won’t be staying here on our next trip to see family at Fort Hood.
