Our stay at The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa was nothing short of extraordinary, so much so that we actually cancelled part of our Thailand trip just to return for a few more nights. As a couple visiting from Ireland, we chose Naka Island to celebrate my birthday this January, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had discovered somewhere truly special. The experience begins before you even step foot on the island. A short, five minute speedboat ride transports you into what feels like a different world entirely. Crystal clear waters, peaceful sandy beaches, and breathtaking views welcome you on arrival. Stepping off the boat, we were greeted with warm smiles and immediately escorted by golf cart on a personal tour of the resort before being brought to our private room. The sense of luxury and tranquillity is instant. Our room was stunning, beautifully designed, completely private, and the perfect place to switch off and relax. The pool and facilities are incredible, and every sunset looked like it had been painted across the sky. Days were spent unwinding by the pool, soaking in the peaceful atmosphere, and truly disconnecting from the world. What truly sets this resort apart is the incredible range of recreational activities available. There is so much more to the island than just relaxation. One of the most meaningful experiences of our trip was getting the opportunity to teach English to local island children who otherwise do not get the chance to learn the language. It was such a special and humbling experience that we will never forget. We also took part in Muay Thai sessions, which were both exhilarating and empowering, such a unique way to immerse ourselves in Thai culture while staying in absolute luxury. What makes this island unforgettable, however, is the people. The staff are simply exceptional. Every single person we met went above and beyond, and their warmth and genuine kindness elevated our stay from amazing to magical. Nong, the pool attendant, was always there with a big smile, ensuring we were comfortable during our long, lazy afternoons by the water. At Z Bar, the wonderful lady who served us each evening brought such warmth and energy that every sunset drink felt like a special occasion. Masaya was outstanding. On our final day, she surprised us with a thoughtful gift of our favourite bar snacks. It was such a personal and heartfelt gesture and perfectly captured the care and attention shown to us throughout our stay. Evenings at Rum Chapel were another highlight, where the bartender crafted delicious, creative cocktails that added to the magical atmosphere. Bank, our waiter, was professional, attentive, and consistently kind, turning every meal into a memorable experience. When we returned to the island for a second stay, the welcome we received was overwhelming in the best possible way. On our last day, the staff presented us with gifts, a gesture that truly touched us and made an already perfect trip feel even more luxurious and meaningful. The island itself is paradise, but it is the team who make it extraordinary. They do not just provide excellent service, they create lasting memories. We left feeling incredibly grateful and are already counting down the days until we return next January. We have added a few pictures from our stay to try and capture just how beautiful and special this place is, although no photo can truly do it justice. Ceny w restauracjach bardzo wisokie .Pomimo wikupionego HP , czyly śniadania i kolacje , za wiele dan na kolacji trzeba doplacic , a za niektóre zaplacić i to nie malo. Brak biufetu na kolacji. Plaża przed hotelem bardzo brudna , przy odplywu wszysko zostaje na piasku.

This was my fourth stay at The Naka Island, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Phuket, and this visit was especially meaningful because it was a family trip for Chinese New Year. The resort was fully booked during this festive period, yet the team still did their very best to arrange a comfortable room for us. Traveling with my parents always makes me more attentive to details, and I truly appreciated the effort behind the scenes to make everything smooth. The balance this resort achieves continues to impress me — wild yet refined, relaxed yet deeply luxurious. Each time I return, I notice thoughtful enhancements while the original style I love remains untouched. The new entrance and the enhanced welcoming and leaving ceremony make the experience feel intentional and elevated from the very first moment. Breakfast at Aiyara and Veranda now comes with a beautiful open view, making mornings even more enjoyable. I especially loved the French toast with pandan leaf cream — soft, fragrant, and memorable. The traditional clear tom yum soup and the minced pork with chilies were equally satisfying: bold flavors, authentic, yet presented with finesse. At Z Bar, sunset remains one of my favorite rituals. The Yuzu cocktail is still the highlight. Thank you to Rin and Masaaya for their attentive and genuine service. One small but unforgettable moment happened when I mentioned an avocado sushi roll that was no longer on the menu. Rin spoke with the chef, and shortly after, an enhanced version was specially created for us to try. It tasted even better than before. That, to me, defines luxury — listening, caring, and elevating a simple request into a memorable experience. I will definitely return for that dish. The new spa area is quiet and beautifully designed. My session with Lah was excellent — professional, intuitive, and deeply relaxing. Time passed incredibly fast because the experience was simply that good. Fin at reception remembered my name and provided detailed, thoughtful information during check-in. Melenia from the concierge team consistently anticipated our needs and asked for feedback in a sincere way. Even a few simple sentences can create a personal connection — and she understands that well. Most importantly, I want to express my sincere appreciation to the General Manager, Nils Minken. I truly admire a team leader like him. Even during a fully booked Chinese New Year period, he still wanted us to have an exceptional experience — especially for my parents. He understands that every guest has different needs, and he genuinely tries his best to make each stay better. Despite high occupancy, he managed to turn up a room and arrange a better one for us. That level of care, particularly during peak season, is something I deeply appreciate. What impresses me most about The Naka Island is not just one person but the harmony of the whole team working together with genuine care. Everyone shares the same intention: to create an exceptional stay and to make guests want to return. When a leader thinks this way, the entire team reflects it. Absolutely wonderful destination. The island speaks for itself, but what really made our experience was the hospitality of the staff and level of service. Our curator, Liam, did everything he could possibly do to ensure our stay was as enjoyable as could be. Naka is highly recommended.

Our stay at The Naka Island was nothing short of exceptional. The Private Pool Villas are spectacular. Beyond the breathtaking views, what impressed us most was the absolute privacy. You truly feel like you have your own secluded piece of paradise rather than just a hotel room. Liam, our private butler, made the experience flawless from start to finish. I assume that is the official title, but in reality he felt more like a trusted friend who anticipated every need before we even voiced it. He genuinely found a place in our hearts and elevated the entire stay. In general, the level of service is next level. This is real 5-star plus hospitality, not the kind written in brochures or we experienced at other "5-Star" resorts during our recent 2 weeks vacation in Thailand but the kind you feel every single day. Special thanks to a few wonderful people who made lasting impressions: • Tia, an incredibly professional waitress • Boom, who brightened my mornings with organizing outstanding artisanal cappuccino for me • Payu at the Z-Bar, whose warm smile and explanation of the different mango varieties, including a tasting, was unforgettable And the spa… the Thai style massage I received was the best massage of my life. The entire spa experience is thoughtfully designed and deeply relaxing. We left with the rare feeling that we did not just visit a luxury resort, we experienced genuine hospitality. We cannot wait to come back.

Naka Island was a wonderful property that had everything one needs for a relaxing stay. Beautiful views, including the ocean and lush vegetation. Our suite property was exceptional and clean. We had butler service provided by Ploi who was so kind and helpful. Ploi answered any questions we had, helped us with reservations and buggy rides. She even treated our son with a special stuffed animal. Thank you to the wonderful room service attendants, buggy drivers and staff at the restaurants.

We could not have had a better stay. We were a family of 4 with two small children and we stayed for 5 nights. From arrival in Phuket to check out, everything was seamless. The breakfast is unreal and the location of everything needed (pool, beach, restaurants, cafe, kids club) is in one general area making it nice to not have to walk far within the resort. The entire team goes above and beyond and no small detail is missed. Emmy in particular was so amazing! Our 4 year old also enjoyed a couple hours every day at the kids club with many different activities put on (thank you to the kids club team, my son adored you). We will definitely be back in a couple years when our youngest can enjoy the kids club as well and we can enjoy more of the spa! Thank you to the entire team for making this trip to Thailand so memorable.
