Hotel Santa Cruz is fine. The location is okay - easy enough to walk to Parque Kennedy or the front etc, but it is a little walk. The rooms are also fine. We stayed in two different rooms on two different occasions and actually one was much nicer than the other - some of the rooms need a bit of a refurb. But it serves it’s purpose so if you’re looking for luxury or above and beyond this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for somewhere reasonably priced in a reasonable location and reasonable condition that it is.

Very good location and security. Rooms were clean and the breakfast was good. Staff was helpful and bar was fun after a long day. I honestly don’t know what more you could expect for $40 a night. I would stay there again in an instant and if I ever make it back to Lima I will

"TRAVELERS BEWARE!!!"

I booked Santa Cruz 3 months before my actual stay on Hotel.com. The place had great reviews. When we arrived they said they were full and were going to move us to a new location, which was just as nice. We ended up staying at a hotel less than acceptable. Santa Cruz then added insult to injury by saying it was a nicer hotel. This gets better. Then they tried to charge us an additional $30 for the transfer. REALLY!!! Hotel Santa Cruz is a nice hotel, but it appears they will over book their rooms and then move you to a different less acceptable hotel if they fill up. TRAVELERS BEWARE!!!

Arrived at 1:50 pm for a hotel check in at 2pm. Front desk staff rudely says it will not be until 3pm as they had a lot of late check outs. Room was worn out overall, save your tile and money and book somewhere else.

Location is great and room was clean. The only thing to improve: there were no towels for the hands nor one to place outside the shower. Breakfast was a bit limited but good enough. Spacious room.
