The Minster Hotel York

We have to say a big thank you, as we found the Minster Hotel spot on! It is a great, well appointed, family run hotel, with lovely, attentive staff. The room was super, clean and spacious and it offered us a great sleep. It being very quiet, and the bed nice and comfy. Breakfast is excellent too, with lots of choice, perfectly cooked, hot and wonderfully tasty.. all served by a great staff team, who are literally a well oiled machine. The Minster seems to have ample, private parking and is ideally placed for York city centre. Bootham is a very short walk to the Minster, Shambles, museums etc.. Go on, treat yourself!

Very relaxing staff fantastic xx we will visit again

Stayed for one night in a twin room. Friendly staff, nice and clean and comfortable. Absolutely brilliant breakfast with very attentive service! The room did get a bit hot, so would suggest asking for a fan during the warmer months. All in all, highly recommended, will definitely stay again when I go back to York.

Perfect location,friendly staff, my breakfast egg for soldier was hard boiled.The room was comfortable but cleaning was insuffiient.Found leftover biscuit on the floor.

Perfectly located hotel for visiting York. Added bonus was it had parking. Excellent breakfast, good value for money. Room had a very comfortable bed. Ensuite had a walk in shower and very nice toiletries. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very quaint hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location. The breakfast was fantastic and worth it. Only complaint was the bed and pillows. Both could use an upgrade
