The woman checking me in was extremely slow. After 15 minutes of her trying to figure out how to check me in, I noticed she was texting. I said no wonder this is taking so long. The check in process took a half an hour. She was rude and clearly doesn’t belong in the hospitality business

A Convenient Stay in Condado, San Juan We just returned from a trip to Puerto Rico and wanted to share our experience at my 2nd stay at the Casa del Caribe Inn. I saw some of the other reviews and while I understand that the experience might not be for everyone, I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit. The inn is in a fantastic location, right in the heart of Condado and just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, church, and malls accessible by Uber. The atmosphere is charming and feels very authentic, which was a big part of the appeal for me. I went there to get away and truly felt at home. While there were a few things I might have wished for—a pool would have been a great addition, in room min-fridge/microwave, and minor repair these were minor details. I knew what I was booking and that I had the option to stay at a larger, more traditional hotel if I wanted the full resort experience. Ultimately, the Casa del Caribe Inn is a great choice if you're looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay without the high price tag. It's a wonderful value and a great base for exploring all that Condado has to offer. I had no significant concerns and would recommend it to other travelers who appreciate a more local feel.

Eddy was the only positive of our stay! He is amazing! We came back to our room twice to it being unlocked and many times without our bed being cleaned. You get complementary water, sunscreen and after sun which is nice. If you just need a bed and bathroom it works but it is not anything special.

it is a small convenient place to be in Condado without regular amenities. it was ok for the one and half day that i needed to stay. The place is not as the picture seems in the entry area. it seems run down, as if it hasn't been cleaned up.

Would stay again

You definitely get a good value out of this place. My precaution to any traveler would be to wear a lot of bug spray. The staff are lovely, and there’s a cute common area for everyone staying. I would stay here again.

It was hard to tell if it was clean or dirty because of how old and outdated the rooms were. The walls and floors had a yellow and dirty look to it. It also smelled very humid and damp through out the building. The bed sheets had a basement smell to them. The water pressure was very minimal and it was hard to get hot water. It was also hard to get parking around the hotel so I recommend ubering. The staff was very friendly and helpful but I wouldn’t come back here.

I loved that it was a family-owned hotel. You can feel it, and staff are so friendly! And It’s around a lot of good places to eat!

It was such a cute little room. It gave authentic PR vibes. Everyone was really nice and it was an easy check in and out. They were really helpful recommending places as well! Can’t wait to come back again.
