Casa del Caribe Inn

It’s is an older hotel so it is a little outdated. But it is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. I really enjoyed my stay. As far as safety, the front gate is looked with only guess access so I did feel safe. All in all I will recommend for a solo trip if you want to be in the condado area and not pay the condado priced.

Great location, near the beach and lots of restaurants

What i like was the beach was five min away. Two drug stores, where you can also get beach supplies. There were multiple restaurants around in walking distance.

Ana and Eddy went above and beyond to accommodate me and my children. We had a long layover and the hospitality we received was a 10! The area is also walkable and safe. Definitely would return!

Hotel very dated, but was ok for the price. If you’re looking to be out and about most of your stay, and just need a place to sleep, this would work for you. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had a major water leak that kept the floor wet. They have a water fountain outside and I believe it attracts mosquitoes. This was a major problem because I hate mosquitoes and I was bit everyday when leaving and coming from the room. Also, the water was very cold when taking a shower. The front said they don’t have hot water because they are in the tropics. I have never heard of such thing! They also allow dogs, and we heard barking a lot, during the stay. The older guy at reception desk is very nonchalant and nasty! The young lady at the desk was very sweet, and attentive! Overall, it worked out. There are restaurants and shops, and casino nearby, and the beach is literally a walk around the corner. It’s 7 min from old San Juan in an uber or if you’re driving., and not far from the T-mobile District which is a highlight in San Juan. Would I recommend or stay here again? My answer would be no. It depends on what’s important to you.

I had an awful experience with this hotel. After my flight was cancelled, I was stranded late at night with my 3-year-old child. No one ever showed up to check us in, despite multiple calls. I was hung up on twice when I tried to ask where the desk agent was. I never even got to stay at the hotel — and they still took my money and are refusing to issue a refund. The customer service was completely unprofessional and uncaring. The place looked rundown from the outside too. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Stay far away!

Tv remote didn't work, toilet barely flushed, old worned out everything. This place has potential but needs ALOT of TLC.
