Homewood Suites by Hilton Orland Park

The property was clean, comfortable, and close to all sorts of food, shopping, and right across from a huge gym. The room was like a small studio apartment. It was clean and comfortable. The only problem I could say about it is the patreons that were out upstairs and next door neighbors were very inconsiderate with dragging a chair around at 3 o'clock in the morning (above) us. And the same floor neighbors slamming their door at 4/5 o'clock in the morning. This is not the hotels fault I actually said something about it to staff but the patreons have to be considerate. The staff were extremely helpful when I needed extra pillows bcuz I had a back procedure done. Also when we had a non working coffee maker and that and the pillows were brought to our room right away. Before we even got to our room James (front desk clerk who checked us in) had a text sent to me asking how everything was. On the TV the message was welcome (with last name). And Susana was extremely helpful with what was needed. Even after I had been home for 12 hrs and realized I had forgot to sign out of my Netflix acct I texted Susana about it and she answered right away if it automatically signs out when another patreon gets the room. This was the best hotel that we have ever stayed at.

Wonderful and accommodating staff.

Absolute TRAAAASH! My daughter is turning 12 so we decided to celebrate her birthday with family. A worker by the name of Cheyenne told the children that they needed to be accompanied by an adult at all times. She looked at them and said, “I’m 25 years old, I don’t play with people kids. WHAT? Why would you say this to a child? All because they looked at you. There’s a lot to unpack here but let’s unpack what happened in the weight room: Again, there were two adults in there with them…NO, the kids were not mishandling or playing with the machines carelessly. They were simply working out as that’s what it’s used for. Well, Ms. Disrespectful and very condescending Cheyenne stormed in the weight room saying in a VERY loud voice, “There’s way too many people in here” I then begin to ask her, “How many people are able to be in here at one time?” Her response was, “there’s just way too many people in here and if you ask me one more question I’m going to band you from this hotel. Your kids are disrespectful” They were accompanied by two adults and if there was a problem talk to me. I then said, “And if you put me out I want my money back…where is the manager because you are rude?” She replied in a sneaky tone, “And you’re not going to get it!” WHAT KIND OF WORKER GOES BACK AND FORTH WITH A CUSTOMER?! A VERY RUDE ONE! If it wasn’t for us you wouldn’t have a job! I’m an African American successful female. Her comments made me feel like I’m “beneath” her….treated as if ALL African Americans are loud, broke and obnoxious. My husband and I are business owners and this isn’t a way to conduct proper business. Let’s fast forward to today: I spoke with the manager regarding this issue and she pulled up Cheyenne fake report saying that she was threatened, disrespected, etc. The manager Susana claimed that she would take my report and compare it to Cheyenne’s, and do an official investigation. Susana said she can’t hear what was said but she can see what happened…. Sounded like a joke to me. The whole time the manager read Cheyenne’s entire report, asking my husband and I questions about it as if she believed it. The manager NEVER apologized for what happened. She said, “I wasn’t here so I’m not sure what happened” Oooh, I’m telling you now. Then I began to think: Like Manager, like worker! Improper training for sure. I’ll definitely report this further to corporate. Everyone, I’l don’t beg for anything but PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!! My rating: negative zero out of a 100!!! The customer service is theeeee worse!

The staff were very polite. Rooms was clean and the breakfast was awesome.

We stay here regularly but this time there was a bad smell of smoke in the bathroom in the room. Also we requested house keeping and hours later we still didn't get it. This is not normal for this property but it was our latest experience.

Staff was very attentive and the facility was very clean.

The Suite was very clean and well kept. Staff members were nice and polite. They helped xhange my suite from horrible 209 to a lovely quite suite

Do not accept suite 209. Right atbthe top of thw boiler room. The room became possessed with loud wierd noises. Inwas uncomforrable and could not sleep
