Schöner Garten, wo es auch viele Vögel zu sehen gibt. Etwas abseits der Strasse gelegen, so dass es dort wirklich ruhig ist. Ein Auto ist aufgrund der Lage sehr empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer war sehr gross. Angenehm ist, dass mit dem Auto vieles in und um La Fortuna sehr gut erreichbar ist.

Die Klimaanlage fanden wir relativ laut. Das Doppelbett war mit einer sehr weichen Einzelmatratze augestattet, so dass man jedes nächtliche Umdrehen des Schlafpartners mitbekommt. Das Restaurant ist für die Leistung relativ teuer. Wir haben dort nur einmal abends gegessen, ansonsten ausserhalb. Die Qualität des Frühstückbuffets fanden wir eher mittelmässig. Kuchen sehr süss, Spiegeleier vermatscht in Warmhaltebox, Speisen häufig mit Käse überbacken, was nicht wo unser Fall ist. Man konnte sich frisch zubereitetes Rührei jedoch kein Omelett bestellen.

An interesting spot with great views. Shower was scalding hot . Temperature control was not working. We asked twice to have it repaired with no results. Food in the restaurant and at the pool bar was great. Staff were all very nice. The grounds are lovely. A little more TLC and this would be a real gem.

Property is outdated. Tiny swimming pool Need major maintenance. Roof in poor conditions that may have leaks and has moldy smell in the unit Plumbing (faucet+shower/diverter) leaks. Toilet flow very slow, hard to flush (even without toilet paper). WiFi is bad. Internet is slow in the room. 95% of time can not connected parking is not at the unit. Has to request transportation thru Whats app. NO PHONE in the room and no internet in the room to use WhatsApp to request the services Not a professional landscape site. Not a good quality breakfast buffet ( some buffet food has sour taste)

Lovely hotel, but set quite a way out of town. Gives seclusion, but bit of a walk/cheap taxi to town. Quite a big hotel, but cute bungalows all with their own space. Huge room and a Flintstones style bathroom, which looked great, but was rustic in operation 😀. Hilly stroll down to the restaurant or reception, but golf buggies available. Great breakfast and a tasty dinner - could do with more loungers around the pool, but would stay again. We stayed 3 nights and La Fortuna is an awesome little town with loads to do - Sloth Park recommended as well as the Canyoning and white water rafting!

Excellent all round! Rooms and grounds beautiful and teeming with wildlife - check out the frog ponds at night. Staff very helpful and friendly. Restaurant food delicious and service excellent there too. The night hike was brilliant - around the Arenal Eco Oasis, so in aid of a great cause too.
