Comfort Inn Bloomington near University

Stay away from this place. Worst hotel ever. The place was dirty, sheets and comforter didn’t look clean, carpet was old & dirty with stains on it. Worst part was the sink faucet in the bathroom didn’t work with no water coming out. The tub wouldn’t drain when taking shower and had standing dirty water. Phone, clock in the room didn’t work either.

The rooms were awful. Shower doesn’t drain, sink doesn’t drain, sheets on bed were not covering the mattress. Carpet frayed, dented walls, just awful!!! I checked out the next day.

There was only one thing that was really good and it was a certain employee there that helped me out because they are trying to find out on a refund the previous night that I was supposed to stay there I wasn’t there. I was charged two times once by booking.com and then once by the property. So right now booking.com is in contact with the manager. Which the manager was not very friendly whenever I had spoke to him on Saturday, August 9 when I checked in. I adjusted my schedule for a Friday night check into a Saturday morning check-in one employee, was the only good thing about our stay. My children were miserable, which does not make me a happy camper at all!

The property itself is really rundown. There was stuff that had duct tape holding it together. Underneath the bed thing was all shredded and ripped up. I found some bugs in the sink in the bathroom. There was water still left in the shower in the tub that wasn’t drained. The swimming pool had a bowel smell to it and it’s small for the facilities that they have surrounding it.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were comfortable. A/C was plenty cold. The bathroom was spotless. The free breakfast had plenty of options, including scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffles, toast, muffins, yogurt, cereals, coffee, and a variety of juices. The location was convenient, with a nearby gas station and grocery store, and not too far from downtown. I would stay here again.

Just beautiful

The pool was down for "routine" maintenence on a Friday night. Also the room had only 2 workong TV channels and they were not kid friendly.

Breakfast and also for the fact that I had a place to sleep for the night.

No , fridge, to keep my food, no microwave in room to warm, room was not cleaned properly, I had to request to change my bedding because you can tell they were not charged after someone else used, stains on the bed, the inside the sink, bath water takes long to drain leaving the bath inside dirty. The whole corridor smells bad 👎

Dirty and very old room. Not recommended.
