The Confederate House

Location was awesome! Right across from Forsyth Park and the shuttle stops right at the location.

How many times can you stay in a pre civil war mansion! Was a great experience. Beautiful location and entertaining and knowledgable host.

Nice location. Steep entry stairs and stairs to rooms.

Miss Colleen was just delightful. Loved the southern charm.

The host was very accommodating. We enjoyed our visit with her. Comfortable bed and the Breakfast was great!!

There is a hurricane headed for Florida, I live in Daytona Beach. I chose not to spend these few days before the storm hits going up to savannah instead I am staying home and preparing. From reading the reviews I saw that this woman who owns this property will not give a credit back for emergencies so I lost $125. Not happy.

There is no sign on the building a little hard to access lots of stairs outside and inside. Owner very sweet room was not quie from outside noise and very light from outside lights and when sun came. Up. I am a tea drinker and there was coffee in room and at hallway but no tea! That’s an easy fix.

Nice place in old section of the city. Poor parking. 42 steps from street level to guest rooms.

Can't really say anything too negative about The Confederate House. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean with a comfortable bed. The owner goes out of her way with little niceties like homemade cake & cookies. These are available in a pretty upstairs kind of parlor. Miss Coleen cooks breakfast herself and served delicious blueberry pancakes. We read the reviews before we booked and knew that there is absolutely no check in until 3 p.m. Also, there are a lot of stairs to navigate, so if someone has a problem with steps, not a place for them. You can see this on the website. Don't be turned off by some maintenance issues on the exterior. Once inside, it's fine.

Great Bed n breakfast! Wonderful stay at a historic home!! Room was nice, the coffee sitting room was amazing, right across from Forsyth Park!!
