The Confederate House

First impression was really bad. No signage and looked tired. Bathroom door would not shut due to cracked floor tile, sink faucet was loose and there were no towel bars. Ants on dining room table at breakfast. Parking awkward upon arrival and we needed to call to be let into the house. Bed was comfortable.

My wife and I stayed here on our vacation. The location was great and we had no complaints during our stay. The TV channel selection could be better but we were out most of the time anyways. Ms. Colleen was amazing. The breakfast was great too. We would definitely stay here again.

Character filled and historic in a quiet part of Savannah . Large well appointed room. Even though we were late arrivals, we were graciously met by our hostess with fresh coffee and warm cookies and a history lesson about this former Confederate Museum. Well appointed, comfortable room with large bath and shower. Excellent 'southern' breakfast in the morning before departure. Just one caution for guests: Be prepared for many steps.

The lady of the house was very friendly and welcoming and she makes a fantastic breakfast. The rooms were clean, comfortable and very quiet. The B&B is very conveniently located along Forsyth Park and gave quick access to the historic district of Savannah. Free parking, too!

Never have I stayed in a place that has made me and my family feel so disgusted. We were in town to tour Savannah College of Art and Design with our daughter. Colleen, the woman who manages the residence immediately went into a 20 minute racist rant about people in savannah, then said hateful things about SCAD and all the people at the college. The WiFi never worked, the rooms were filthy, and the overall disrepair of the place was not as shown online. I will never stay here again and never recommend to anyone.

Wonderful experience and beautiful home. Mrs. Colleen was a sweet and kind hostess. We will definitely be back agin.

History of property was fascinating. You must be able to climb a lot of steep stairs to stay here.

It was our first time in Savannah and we had an amazing time. Our hostess was very welcoming. She made a point of joining us after we’d had the delicious breakfast that she made and talked with us. Our room was fabulous and the bed was comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

Loved the location and Park across the street. Would prefer breakfast much earlier

Everything was great! The house was decorated in wonderful old furniture. Access to Savannah was very close. Breakfast was great!
