"No regrets staying here."

10.0

Everything. This property was amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and very comfortable for four adults. Loved all the facilities. Free food and drinks was a nice touch. The private Onsen’s are fabulous and easy to book.

Absolutely nothing.

"Good facilities, tricky location for skiers or people wanting dining options"

6.0

Good facilities. Free snacks and drinks at some times of day. Onsite ski and snowboard rentals very good and competitively priced. There’s plenty of space and toys for little kids to play in the snow.

Unless you are super organised and like running your holiday around a rigid schedule, the location becomes a problem. There are buses that go from the slopes to the hotel a few times a day, but the queue is long and the schedule unreliable. So you end up spending big on taxis, which are hard to book and quite expensive. Additionally, the food choices at the hotel are limited. $88AUD for dinner plus drinks is the cheapest option. On demand shuttle buses in Hakuba are only available some of the time and will not take you anywhere if you have ski gear. The hotel shuttle only really takes you to the bus depot and station, and has to be booked well in advance. I felt like we spent a lot of our stay organising transport, waiting around and being on hold for overbooked taxi services.

"I would t recommend this property as there is no help from the staff as nobody speaks English, the main problem is there"

2.0

The grounds and the view in the Japanese Alps

Nobody speaks English, which is very important for trying to understand where to eat, transfers to skiing and even paying g the bill.
