Homewood Suites by Hilton Fort Collins

It was ok not sure worth the money. The curtains didn’t shut tight big gap I used hair ties to close them. The bathroom outlet didn’t work made for drying hair difficult.

This is a wonderful place to stay! The king suite is spacious and quiet. Must say the bed is so comfortable I hated to leave it. Will be staying here again for sure.

Our experience here was terrible. When I arrived to check in, I was told I couldn’t because the reservation was in my husband’s name. After 4:00 PM, when my husband called, suddenly they allowed me to check in. The real problem was the room itself. When I got there, the door was standing open. I tried to close it but it wouldn’t latch. Even worse, the door didn’t lock from the outside at all – every time we left, it could be pushed open with a hard shove. This was a huge safety issue. I went back to the front desk and was told maintenance would look at it. An hour later, with no update, I returned to the room. The door was shut but still hard to open and still wouldn’t close or lock without lifting one side. When I raised my concerns again, the front desk staff basically said they didn’t know how to help, that “the door closes” and I could just use the latch from the inside. We asked to be moved to another room but were told they couldn’t do that, even though the door was clearly broken. We ended up leaving and canceling our reservation with no promise of a refund. Between the major safety issue and the unhelpful service, this was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had.

This hotel is just bad. I had to stay here for 33 nights. Horrible experience. It is not worth staying at. I stay in Hilton properties over 180 nights per year on business. This is the worst Hilton property I have stayed at in several years. First room I was checked into had a bathroom floor that felt like it was going to collapse. Then was moved to a new room which was supposed to be clean. It had leftover food in the refrigerator. The breakfast is terrible. The complimentary coffee in lobby is always cold. I complained to mgr and they said they would comp me points for troubles which they never did. I walked out of my room one morning and there was a pile of dog poop right beside the elevator. I would have moved but no hotels were available due to it being move in month for the college. Don’t stay here is the best advice I can give anyone. The hotel management was notified about all of the issues and they chose to do nothing. They said they would address issues and give me Hilton honors points for my bad experiences which they never did. Then when I went to ask about the issues, the managers were not available. How convenient.

Low toilets, no grab bars (per request), plug not working in bathroom. Can hear people in the next room. Air conditioning WAY TOO COLD! Breakfast closed too early

This is one of the worst Homewood Suites we have visited. And, we have thought Homewood Suites to be the best of the Interstate hotels. Not this one for a variety of reasons: no tv services for at least 1/3 of our stay; incredibly cramped kitchen; poor lighting; furniture in the room past its functional life; and maddeningly inconsistent access from the outside via the non-main doors. The place has a deteriorating feel.
