Nice quiet location and easy to get into Elgin Good breakfast Friendly and helpful staff

Pool was closed which wasn't explained when I had booked as was the main reason for booking here

The restaurant was closed as was the leisure suite. The receptionist was uninterested. The room was dirty and old. The decor was worn and dated. The carpet was stained. The couch was ripped. The water was cold. The tiny kettle took 10 mins to heat up. What a disgrace at a price of £155. We deserve a full refund. Not recommended!

Staff were friendly enough, when you could find them! Room was very dated and bed was rock hard and very lumpy (I nearly slept on the floor). Food was nice but pretty much everything on the menu was fried or high carb and also extremely limited Water pressure in the room was terrible, gave up trying to fill the bath!

The restaurant and spa were unavailable to us and this was a big upset to us as this was one of the reasons we had booked your hotel.

Friendly staff. Quiet location. Plently of hot water for bath and good shower. Tea/coffee in room ok./

Cooked breakfast on first day was 'cremated'. Evening meal only available on the first evening of our stay and consisted of fast food only i.e. fish and chips, scampi. Our room was 'dated' - toilet flush v. poor, toilet seat loose, the glass shelf above the sink was at a height that prevented us even washing our face without our head hitting the glass shelf, etc etc. Very few guests in the hotel. A very run down hotel. Needs refurbishment. Quality not consistent with a so called Spa Hotel or with the cost of the stay. Quality not cosistent with a holel booked through Booking.com - should be taken off their list.

Our stay at the hotel was not quite what we expected. I feel if the look of the place would be done up and look more welcoming, that would help. There also seem to be more workers staying the tourists? We booked a table in the restaurant l, but we were the only people there. The girl who served us, however, was lovely, and the food was good. The room was at some points outdated, especially the bathroom. Had a good sleep though.

Hot, powerful shower - although the shower is in the bath.

OMG, the walls are thin. You will know EXACTLY what your neighbours are doing - talking, TV channel, toileting, and everything else that people do in hotel rooms. The hotel must know this, as earplugs are supplied in the room.

Staff attending to our needs asap.

Understand hotel aging, maybe furniture could be touched up a little to freshen up but this is just minor issue. Was looking forward to using gym facilities but again understand can be expensive to run.
