Hampton Inn Canon City

Bedding had stains. Chairs had stains. Tub didn't drain, so by the time I got out of the shower, the water was half way up my calf. Homeless guy sleeping on the walk by the door. Ice machine only on firsy floor and was surrounded by puddle of water and soaked towels. Had to change rooms due to tv not working.

Check in took FOREVER!!! We were told a room would be ready in 20 minutes...I CANNOT tell you how MANY 20 minutes passed before we finally got in a room!!! I believe they are seriously UNDERSTAFFED. The only 'bright' spot was Ginny, it was her 3rd day and she said it was her LAST. Didn't take her long to figure out that particular Hampton IS NOT the place to work! I doubt that I'd ever TRY another Hampton again ever after this experience! The pool was NOT functional...my son was looking SO FORWARD to using it! The room was relatively clean, but the floor in the elevator was FILTHY!!! Some of the furniture in the room needed repaired...Room # 208 Sandi Mosser Golden, CO I was in Canon City for the Celebration of Life for a DEAR friend of MORE than 50 years!

The conditions at this property were wholly unacceptable, unsafe, and far below the standards expected of the Hampton Inn brand. Upon arrival and throughout my stay, I encountered numerous serious issues: Elevator completely out of service during my entire stay. Pool permanently closed with no prior notice. Laundry facilities inoperable for the entire visit. Only one functioning ice machine, which leaked water onto the floor. I slipped and fell as a result—an unacceptable safety hazard. Hallway light to the 3rd floor stairwell burnt out, leaving a dangerously dark area. Key cards failed daily, requiring replacements every single day. Towels had holes and felt like sandpaper—completely unfit for guest use. No shampoo or conditioner provided in the shower. The combined effect of these issues made this property unsafe, unsanitary, and unwelcoming. In my opinion, the condition of the hotel warrants immediate inspection by the local Department of Public Safety, and I intend to file a formal report with county authorities.

Elevator didn't work yet we were put on the 3rd floor - pool wasn't working - room key didn't work and even after having to trump up and down 3 floors of stairs 3 times to complain. Then they gave us a key to another room which already had people in it so we walked in on them. After all that we just left and went to a different hotel.

Stayed for three nights. Pool, elevator weren’t working. No room service. Same breakfast for three days. Two ladies at front desk were horrible. Not recommend at all.

I wanted a pool and it was under work and not available. That should have been addressed when I made the reservation. A barking dog was unacceptable and it was scratching the door . The staff did move us, and the elevator was out.!!

The hotel is filthy .. Pool, hot tub and elevator not working. Shower wouldn't drain because of hair in the drain. Mold in the bathroom. Employee's not happy and 2 out of the 3 I spoke with are quitting in the next 2 weeks. The bed looked like the duvet had just been thrown on. No housekeeping ... Best not going there is that is 1 of your options.

Room was not clean food left in refrigerator wallpaper pilling off terrible all the way around. Check-in check right back out went to another hotel.

Lady at desk was very friendly and helpful. But the hotel is nasty a lot of things that need to be fixed. When we checked in one room was so gross. The tub was full of dirty water and tub was nasty. It had not been cleaned. The other room my son and family was in had no refrig , their tub was dirty too. Husband and son said breakfast was gross
