When we first got there we were given a room where the beds looked like they had been slept in. So we asked for a different room. The second room was better. There are little to no cameras in this facility. The lady at the desk said people had been getting into rooms and using the showers and beds.

Do NOT stay here! I have been ignorant and naive to have stayed her numerous times over the past couple years. There is ALWAYS something wrong. Last time I was here I took a picture of everything that was wrong that stay and I ended up with ten pictures. And I'm not talking about little things. I have had no towels multiple times, no refrigerator and no microwave once (for these I had to go to some storage room and bring them up to my room myself!), elevator seems to be out every month, no hot water in shower more than once, none of the fitness room equipment works (no kidding - NONE of it),have had to wait long times for rooms at least three or four times as the front counter person was also cleaning the rooms (that's after I've found the front counter person), staff is usually not friendly, and more. I will NEVER stay here again. I should have learned this over a year ago. Even Motel 6 would be better. I now stay at Holiday Inn.

"Never Again"

The pool and hot tub were down for renovation. When I asked why that wasn’t posted on web site, I was informed I should have gone through their site not a 3rd party. No water in pop machine and was told I could go to the convenience store and get some. My bath towel had big holes in it and no tissue had to use toilet paper. I could have gone to a cheaper motel and had the same comfort this more expensive one cost. The only reason I chose this one was for the pool.

"You get what you pay for."

Stay somewhere else! The location was great, low price, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I guess you get what you pay for-this was the cheapest in the area. We had multiple problems: our key didn't work upon check in. Took over an hour to straighten out. Not nice when you're tired from traveling! The room had the table lamp hidden behind the TV. ????? Bathroom: No tub, just shower. There was mold in the grout in the shower. There were two large dispenser holders in the shower for body wash and shampoo. We only had one bottle, with conditioner, which is useless to us. We were given tiny tubes of body wash and shampoo, and had to ask for more. The bathmat had a stain on one corner. The pool was closed. (not happy when I planned on enjoying it for the week we were there! ) The washer and dryer was out of order. Had to shop at Walmart for a few things because of this. If this had been listed, we would have stayed elsewhere. Breakfast: eggs, toast, sausage, cereal, waffles, coffee was all ok. Dissappointed no small muffins or something sweet was offered. We are not ones to complain, and at our age, changing hotels was a stress we didn't want to go through, so we dealt with it all. Overall, it was not the quality we are used to with Hampton Inns. The staff was curteous and helpful.

"Not worth the price"

Every aspect of this place was terrible. They weren’t able to print our keys, room, hallways, elevator, and lobby were very dirty, pool was out of order, room did not have clean towels but dirty ones were draped on the shower rod, AC broken. Dust, dirt, fingerprints everywhere. Sink and shower were clogged and hair coming out of the drain. Breakfast food and coffee were constantly running out. I could tell they were very short staffed. Room had broken furniture and fixtures, no phone. Did not see a housekeeping employee within the walls of the hotel the entire stay.

"A Great Stay at the End of a Long Day!"

It was a great place after a long day at the end of a long day on the bike! Theresa at the front desk was especially kind and helpful, getting me the best room available on a preferred floor... If you need a solid place to stay in Canon City, consider the Hampton Inn!

"Elevator doesnot work and lobby is untidy."

Elevator was not working and the reservation had to be cancelled during check in as I had elderly family members with luggage who cannot take the stairs. Hotel did not agree to refund the amount. Why would they confirm the reservation if they don’t have facilities running properly? Terrible experience.

I was absolutley saddened by the staff,They did the bare minimum of their job. Breakfast evey morning was sub-par. The comforter had dog hair all over it, I waould habe said something if I thought the staff would get me a different one.
