"Worst Hilton Ever"

I reserved a king room. I was given a double queen. When we got in, there were no trash bags in the garbage can, and we had no towels. And one of the beds was filthy when turned back.It sounded like construction was going on all night in the room. This morning when I went down to get towels, I met another gentleman that did not have towels, and he said half the breakfast was unavailable. I

Hotel seemed clean but breakfast was terrible with little to no options (cereal, granola bars, oatmeal, yogurt, waffle) no eggs, sausage or even Coffee! The air conditioner in our first room was not cooling and we were moved to a different room, which I did appreciate. The pool was under maintenance and we were not able to use. False advertising for including a pool in the description when it's not working. You can hear people steps upstairs. Overall, not staying there again.

The room was clean. Not a full breakfast. They said the prep kitchen was out of order. Swimming pool was out of order. I have stayed at this place before, its was great. I had 4 couple's book with us had rooms , I was embarrassed that I recommended this place.

"Filthy"

To be blunt, this hotel is a dump and I am confounded as to how it has been allowed to remain a Hampton Inn franchise. Upon driving up to the hotel, my companion and I commented that the place looked to be closed. Weeds were growing in the flower beds and the parking lot was almost empty. Our room was filthy dirty. I am guessing that the last update to this hotel was probably sometime in the 90's guessing from the furniture and carpeting. The wall light next to the bed was missing a light bulb and a light shade. The bedding was gray and thread bare from being washed so much completed by a cigarette burn in the spread. The furniture was stained as was the carpet and wallpaper was missing from walls in the bathroom. After seeing our room, we immediately went to the front desk to request our money back and were fortunate to get into the Holiday Inn Express which was lovely.

I booked online ahead of my trip. I believe it is best to be prepared. As a Hilton Honors member I felt safe booking a Hilton facility. This place is an embarrassment to the brand. There is no television service, the pool is empty, there are ceiling tiles missing in the hallway, and the water drips in the shower is almost a constant stream. I’m glad we got a room on the first floor because I’m not certain we can trust the elevator to work. I would have requested a refund, but there’s not a lot between here and Amarillo.

"Find another hotel!!"

If we could give a zero we would. Mostly unfriendly person at front desk. ( over 4 days there were 2 friendly night clerks). First day, the man said no housekeeping There was none for our entire stay. Some days NO ONE at counter at all. Broken lamp never fixed—no light bulb, lamp shade was in closet. No water in pool or spa. Last morning Walmart has dropped off breakfast supplies and at 8:30 no one was there to take them off the check in counter. As we left, the clerk from the first afternoon came driving up. There was certainly no one to fulfill the guarantee that they would ‘make it right’. Awful!! Our room was never cleaned

"Avoid!!!"

I’ve stayed at this Hampton Inn in Cañon City many times over the past 8 years, and it’s shocking how far it has fallen. The property is in complete disrepair — wallpaper peeling off walls, filthy common areas with layers of dust, greasy fingerprints on glass, and trash cans overflowing. The room was worse. All of the Hilton-branded fixed soaps and shampoos had been removed and replaced with weird, no-name products on counter. The room's AC didn’t work, and there was no way to get fresh air into the room. Linens were disgusting — full of holes, bare spots, and burns. The branding on the sheets showed they were MainStay (a Walmart label), not Hilton quality. To make matters worse, the front desk staff was more interested in chain-smoking outside than answering calls or physical requests for guest concerns. I used to recommend this hotel, but now it’s just gross. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name on this property. Honestly, I would recommend Hilton remove it from their portfolio altogether. I will never stay here again.
