Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor

When we got to the hotel we checked in and were taken to our rooms. We had booked a nile view room, but when we looked outside there was no nile view. After a couple of calls to reception we were moved. So it wasn't a great start. The new room had a spectacular view of the nile and the sunset. But, the view and the friendly staff are the only good things about the hotel. In the bathroom the shampoo and shower gel were crusty and gross. The rugs on the tiled floor were so slippy they were a hazard. I moved the rug by my bed so I didn't fall to find a badly broken tile that would definitely cut your foot. The chair in the room was disgusting. God knows what bacteria it was holding. There was bird poop all over the tiles by the pool. As in all over. There wasn't space to stand without standing in poop. They also offer trips in a motored paraglider which is super noisy. It was up and down continuously which was seriously annoying and rather spoilt the sunset. Basically if you can put up with the faults it's a great place to see the sunset over the nile. But I wouldn't recommend staying more than 1 night.

We had an incredible stay at the Jolie Ville Hotel in Luxor. From the moment we arrived, everything was simply perfect. The rooms are absolutely stunning—spacious, elegant, spotless, and extremely comfortable. You instantly feel relaxed and at home. The setting is breathtaking. Located right on the banks of the Nile, the hotel offers a peaceful and beautiful atmosphere. The gardens are perfectly maintained, and the views over the river are just magical. The dining experience is also outstanding. The restaurants are beautiful, and the food is absolutely delicious. You can really feel the attention to detail and the effort to create a high-quality experience. But what truly makes the difference is the service. The entire team is incredibly attentive, professional, and always smiling. A very special thank you to Patricia for her exceptional service. Her kindness, attention to detail, and professionalism made our stay even more memorable. She truly represents the excellence of this hotel. Highly recommended—we will definitely come back!

Location The city of Luxor has plenty to do and see to experience Egypt. Karnak and Luxor Temples, the Sphinx Avenue, the fabulous street market open every day, and the vibrant hubbub of daily life. Hotel Jolie Ville, King's Island Resort, is perfectly located, surrounded by the Nile, 3.5 miles south of Luxor Temple. The scenery here is stunning. Make sure you book Jolie Ville, King's Island Resort. It is the only hotel on King's Island. It is very private and feels very safe. Atmosphere After the hustle and horn honking of Luxor the Jolie Ville offers complete peace and quiet. The birds sing against the backdrop of the water trickling over the edge of the infinity pool. Outdoor dining on the edge of the Nile, watching the boats go by, is very romantic. Rooms Our room was fantastic, huge air conditioned bedroom with two 4 foot beds pushed together. Large bathroom with loo, bidet, sink, bath with shower over. Complimentary toiletries, fluffy towels, robes and slippers. Tea making facilities, fridge and TV with BBC World News. Outside private patio with comfortable armchairs and table. Value Exceptional value for such a luxurious holiday, with varied menus in the on site restaurants. The variety of self service breakfast and dinner choices offered in the Buffet Restaurant are of high quality, beautifully presented and very tasty. We have embraced all the Egyptian food - even the spicey ones. We really enjoyed seeing all the foods on offer and making our own choices. The buffet is eat as much as you like, sit inside or outside. Cleanliness Everything is immaculate. The staff are very smart in their crisp uniforms. The table cloths are bright white. The bedding and towels are off a high quality (Egyptian cotton!)The pools are swept every day. The pool loungers are very comfortable with a mattress and clean towel every day. The gardens are colourful and manicured. Noise level The outdoor live entertainment in the evenings is more of a background ambience to dining. We really enjoyed the traditional dancing displays. Evening walks around the grounds are heavenly, very peaceful. It is very quiet here and we have slept very well. Service If you want to be spoilt in luxurious surroundings you must come to Joile Ville, King's Island Resort. The staff here are the best. We have been treated like family. Look out for Morgan, he is the most kind gentleman you could ever meet. He made us feel special every day. Patricia welcomed us to breakfast every day and made sure we had everything we needed. Ahmed looked out for us every evening to make sure we had had a good day, and had everything ee needed; he is another gentleman full of kindness. And finally, a special mention for the Head Chef Mustafa who took great pride in his food, the presentation, taste, and, with a smiling twinkle in his eyes, a warning of the heat of the spices! I also want to praise Housekeeping, Pool Attendants, all Waiting Staff and Groundkeepers. You all provide exceptional service. Thank you. Amenities Everything you could possibly want or need is here. There is a choice of international or Egyptian cuisine, several shops selling a variety of goods from sunglasses to spices. Three swimming pools, tennis courts, games areas (ie pool, chess, volleyball), medical clinic, plenty of toilets by the pools, drinks bars. There is a Gym, Beauty Spa, hairdresser. There is also a mini zoo, choice of cashpoints, and dependable free Wi-Fi. And finally, there is even a free shuttle bus to Luxor city centre.

Amazing location, comfortable rooms, relaxed friendly atmosphere. Fantastic value for what we paid through Eastjet Holidays. Cleanliness is pretty good despite the occaisional sandstorm, some of the facilities are a little tired but still represents great value. Good service in the restaurant with plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner, lots of vegetarian options. Lovely pools with unbeatable views over the Nile, well equiped gym. Our room had a Nile view, definitely worth the extra cost. Take your binoculars, so many birds.

Beautiful setting, staff are great 👍 rooms are a little outdated not UK 5 star ⭐️ but we only slept as there’s so much to do! Everything is accessible cabs are set prices and amazing trips on offer. Patrica will always help you and Sway restaurant staff go above and beyond to make your dinner excellent

Its a great place to stay1 Set in its own grounds - with tennis courts, a spa and even a zoo! A lovely place to just go to wander! Breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of choice. We went to the Chinese/Indian Restaurant and the Italian Restaurants during the stay and the food was lovely! Yes the rooms were a bit dated, but they were comfortable. The only downside was that they only had creamer for the tea and coffee in the room and we had no way of buying milk at the resort except from the bar - and that was very expensive. All in all we had a great stay there

Amazing location… great facilities… super clean and well organised. Lovely meal choices and the staff are the kindest! Lovely base for exploring Luxor… out of the hustle and bustle but very near by all the attractions. Super view of the Nile… can’t recommend enough!

Very disappointed with my experience at @Jolie Ville Hotel Luxor. I have already paid for breakfast as part of my booking, yet when I requested to nave breakfast served in my room, I was asked to pay again. This is completely unfair and misleading If breakfast is included, it should not depend on where it is served, or at least this policy should be clearly explained in advance. This kind of treatment does not reflect good hospitality. I expect a clear explanation and a proper resolution.
