Ocean Coral & Turquesa All Inclusive

We had a wonderful experience at the resort. Tania assisted with our check in and that was so smooth and easy. We did upgrade to privilege services. Claudia was our butler and she was fabulous. She completed reservations for our stay, handled the few room requests we had. Best of all she would find us every day just to say hi and make sure everything was good. The privilege lounge was amazing. Miquel,Jesus,asan were all so friendly and great. A note everyone in the lounge was great. We had many meals there and enjoyed each one. We did utilize the privilege pool area in El Besa and the experience was wonderful. Jose and Enrique were top notch. Restaurants were good,the resort is clean and all staff are friendly.

Where do I start! It is not adults only but families everywhere ranging in ages of 6 months to 80’s! There is no section to go to that is adults only unless you are a “privilege “ member! You have lots of trouble booking a reservation for a restaurant in the evening because you have to do that on your phone at exactly 10:00 a.m. and they only take so many reservations for the time slots available! The Raccoons come out at night and literally run underneath your feet looking for food and knocking over garbage cans! Other animals with long snouts also do this! It is very uneasy especially with all the children that are around! I will never go back to this resort! The seaweed is piled high along the small beach area. Tractors scoop it up and dump it behind the resort and it smells very bad!!

Restaurants are impossible to book because Privlage people book them all before 10 o'clock and the beach is terrible, otherwise the resort is absolutely great the staff and people are wonderful, food is great we've been there 5 times now, just wish they could do something with the beach

Excellent experience. A wonderful resort on the ocean. We selected the "Privilege" option and it made the trip ! Our Butler Carlos (Living the Dream) was incredible. He supported us through our week with first class service, recommendations, reservations, and made us feel at home. He went above and beyond many times. He was fabulous! An instant friend and support on a whirlwind dream holiday. Thank you Carlos, you are one of a kind ! Freddy, my favourite waiter at the privilege private patio. I fell easily into a morning routine of breakfast at the patio, with the beautiful pool and ocean view. Steps from our room. Freddy provided beautiful service and delicious food. A class act, a wonderful smile Freddy! Diana, at the front tour desk, was amazing. She is very knowledgeable and set our family up on a unique all-day trip to visit Mayan past and present. We took a private van (just our family and our guide and driver). Our Guide FELIX took us on a huge excursion to see Mayan culture and explore the area. I think we clocked 500kms and made lots of noteworthy stops. Felix is a passionate Mayan gentleman who have us the best tour day we have ever had ! Jose, the towel host at the Privilege pool went above and beyond for our family. Made us feel at home, and made the stress of finding a seat by a busy pool easy. Lots of ice water, and free sunscreen. He was our star many times, when we needed help.

The Restaurants were the ABSOLUTE WORST to try and get a reservation at all of them. I have NEVER been to a resort with this amount of trouble booking dinner reservations. THE WORST, BY FAR! You can ONLY book dinner reservations at 10 am the day of. All restaurant reservations were full by 10:03 am. I will NEVER RETURN to this resort, mostly because of the Trouble BOOKING RESTAURANTS. Also there were NEVER enough lounge chairs by the pools, most being just reserved with towels, not even anyone sitting on the chairs. Each time we have been there, the beach was covered by seaweed. I know its going to happen, but I have been to resorts that had a full time crew cleaning up the beach. Kids activities were good. Staff was good.

We recently stayed at Ocean Coral & Turquesa and had a mixed experience. The resort is very well suited for families with younger children. The kids’ programming (especially for those under 10) appeared well organized, engaging, and supported by attentive staff. If you’re travelling with young kids, this could be a strong fit. The kids pool and little grill had a nice vibe for small/young families. If I were there with my kids when they were young, it would have been great. Being a small resort, the kids zone felt even safer than most. However, for families with teenagers, there was very little offered, and they were (as teens are often) harder to please. We travelled with a 13- and 16-year-old, and there were limited activities or energy geared toward their age group. Adult programming was also quite minimal, which made the overall atmosphere feel a bit too quiet and underwhelming at times. This resort was great for someone who wants to go sit by a pool, read, and not really do much other than soak up the sun. That was fine for the adults among us, but for the teens, there could have been a little more offered... you know, pool side 'name that tune', or more active staff making effort to 'engage' vacationers. The biggest disappointment was the food. While the buffet initially looks extensive, much of it is repetitive or filled with condiments rather than meaningful variety. Specialty restaurant reservations were extremely difficult to secure, even when logging in right at 10 a.m., and we later learned some open earlier, which wasn’t communicated clearly. The meals we did have at the specialty restaurants (Italian and Japanese) were average, with pretty bland flavours and slow service. Other dining experiences were inconsistent. Our two vegetarians seemed happy with their options and selections overall. Two teens were not very jazzed with the food choices other than pasta and bread. On the positive side, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff throughout the resort were kind and courteous. Drinks (all non-alcoholic in our case) were well done and plentiful. The beach was unfortunately not as advertised, with significant seaweed issues throughout the week, and a fairly narrow shoreline. The ocean right at the beach got more and more brown throughout the week. Pools were clean, no issues... though I did find it gross when someone told me that the racoons and Agooti were swimming in the pool at night. Of course (as with all resorts) finding chairs could be a challenge at times. The resort itself is clean, safe, and easy to navigate, but quite isolated. There’s little nearby without a long drive, and the on-site gift shop is extremely overpriced. Overall, this is an “okay” resort with some strengths, particularly for younger families, but it did not meet expectations in terms of food, activities, or overall experience.

Extremely bad experience here. The food was borderline inedible, the drinks were watered down, and the staff made the women in my group very uncomfortable with inappropriate remarks (especially Cesar behind the front desk).

A great experience for our first visit to Cancun! Our butler, Carlos, as well as Enrique and Jose at the pool made the experience unforgettable.
