Ocean Coral & Turquesa All Inclusive

We thoroughly enjoyed our family time at this hotel. We did not feel that we had missed out on anything with not booking privilege. We managed to get reservations at speciality restaurants by being on the app at 10.00am prompt and found sun loungers on the beach near children’s pool as we are early risers. We loved - The staff, always so helpful and polite The rooms - cleaned so well by Victor (and spacious too) The food - always a good choice for everyone and special attention for an allergy. Also loved the Coffee Shop. The grounds - beautifully lush and well maintained. The swimming pools - so spacious, if a bit cool The lobby - a lovely space for evenings. We were not so keen on - raccoons We would definitely consider coming back.

Entertainment staff are fantastic! Great time with Yael, Fabian, Elizabeth, Johnathon, Rocely, Victoria, Ximena, so much fun. They should be commended for their social skills & wonderful entertainment❤️ Pool bar staff really nice, attentive, had our drinks ready before we got to the bar. Eduardo and Antonio are exceptional! Thank you. All servers in the Buffett are terrific, enjoyed our meals, they took great care of our large group. One small note - the staff member tasked with removing our towels from the poolside while we were at breakfast was unacceptable. Caused stress and we didn’t enjoy our breakfasts due to this issue, felt rushed eating after we got up early to enjoy the sunrise. We’re here to relax not to have someone remove our personal items from the poolside while we enjoyed our meal. If this is a new rule, think again about it. We couldn’t enjoy our breakfasts as a group due to this issue. Our group felt targeted by this staff member, numerous empty chairs - she didn’t need to cause us grief.

My wife and I had a great experience at El Beso (adults only) side of Ocean Coral & Turquesa. We upgraded to the "Privilege" which gave us acmes to a different beach area with beach service, a larger suite on the 2nd floor overlooking the beach and ocean, access to a special restaurant, top shelf liquor and wine, 24 hour room service, and guaranteed reservations at the a la carte restaurants (there are 7!). The best part of our stay is we got assigned a butler with the Privilege package - her name is Elizabeth and she was fantastic! She was attentive to anything we needed for our entire 6 day stay. I would request her if you go with the Privilege package as she will make your stay even more enjoyable!

Review of Ocean Coral & Turquesa I would give this resort a solid 4 out of 5 stars overall. We stayed in the Daisy section (kids area) with a garden-view room, which was less than a 5-minute walk to the kids’ area. The resort was well maintained and very clean. The rooms were average to slightly larger than average in size, cleaned well, and the beds were very comfortable. The kids’ pool and kids’ section was great. Staff were friendly, and the snacks at the kids’ club were a nice bonus. Some days the pool area was quite busy, and it could be hard to find chairs if you didn’t go early—but we quickly learned that getting chairs earlier in the day was key. The kids pool opened at 10 am and the snack shack at 12. A life guard was on site and the pool bathrooms were clean. The other pools looked great, we stuck to the kids pool as it was fairly quiet, considering it was a kids area. I’ll leave you the whole day. It was windy. We didn’t have many ocean days. The main buffet was pretty good, with an omelette station in the morning and a wide variety of food being replenished as needed. The à la carte restaurants were good overall. Our favourite was the Italian restaurant (the one starting with an “M”), with Sensi (the Japanese restaurant) coming in second. We used the pamphlet provided at check-in to book à la cartes daily at 10:00 a.m. and never had any issues securing reservations. I would return to this resort. The staff works hard, and at times I genuinely felt bad seeing how some guests treated them.

We had a great time at the resort, between the beach access and the pools as well as the service. Elizabeth was our butler and she was fantastic. Wherever we were she always found us to check in and see what she could do, book a dinner reservation, late checkout and showers. She was always smiling and she was a delight to work with, it showed how much she loved her job.

Room was comfortable room service was spotty The overall area was very clean. Accessibility was very easy from the airport. Beaches were very narrow (not like in the pictures) water was always murky and silty. The public pools made up for the poor beaches. Pools were of good size and clean. The common buffets and food areas were extremely poorly managed, food trays were often empty, restaurants limited seating to about 30% capacity, long lines to get into the restaurants and buffets. Almost felt like they were purposely discouraging you from eating at this "all inclusive" resort. Though every guest has a wrist bracelet for identification you were constantly asked to provide your room number before you could enter any food court. During an evening show (New Years eve) all the common tables were set up so no guest could sit unless they purchased an over priced bottle of champagne, mind you this resort was stated as "All Inclusive". If you sat down at an unoccupied table the staff, quite arrogantly, had you leave. There are much better resorts of similar price but much better quality. I would not recommend this resort nor would I ever return. We were a family of 15 people. Difficult to get seating at buffets, had to wait quite a bit while later arrivals were seated, poorly managed! If you were there when they opened for breakfast at 6:30 am the wait time was very short otherwise there were lines waiting to be seated. Never experienced this in the many other resorts I've been to. Food quality was comparable to other resorts with the exception of food serving trays being empty, often requiring us to ask the staff to refill. The all around atmosphere was comfortable and friendly, drinks were readily available everywhere. Staff was friendly and accommodating, this was the good point. Noise level was typical of such a resort.

I don’t really write reviews but felt I should for this one. I’m one of those guys that reviews really impact if I follow through with booking there or looking else where. The reviews were all over the place for this resort. We are still on resort as of now and want to give you our experience. The food, accommodations and workers have been top notch. Very friendly and always working so hard to please us all. We are not high end people but we do like our food and expect a clean room, both of those have been checked off. I love how they have the resort split up to please all sides. They have the privilege, party, and family areas at this resort. We did upgrade to the privilege side when we checked in and happy we did. As a father, I love seeing kids have fun or people getting waisted having their best life. The privilege side gives you 100% relaxation if that’s what you want. Always have pool chairs available, maybe 4-6 people in the pool at one time. Again, nice to see a resort accommodate all sides. So I hope this post helps others feel good about booking here. If you do book, try the pizza :).

This was our 2nd stay here, our first was early 2019 and I will say the resort has drastically declined in that time. Most notable was the food and service. Food: from the time we came in 2019 through to 2025 we raved to people about the food when we talked about this resort. When we came back in 2025 it was entirely different, almost inedible at times. The Italian restaurant was our favourite on our first stay, we were so disappointed in the food there this time, and even house wine is no longer included. Service: In our 7 day stay we came back 5/7 days after a full day at the pool to find our room hadn’t been cleaned even with the sign on the door, had to call and still waited several hours. The mini bar was restocked maybe every other day, we desperately needed water bottles and had to call multiple times to get it, wait several hours and then walk to the front desk for them. Seaweed: Depending on the time of year there will be seaweed, at times making the beach not swim able. This is not the resort’s fault. They work very hard to clean it but there are 2 things to know: 1. It pushes everyone to the pools 2. It smells bad (mostly everywhere) Our only disappointment in this was that the pools were not properly cleaned, hairballs and bandaids floating. Secondly every morning the lifeguards would take over the pool doing laps annd drills and generally preventing anyone else from swimming. We met other couples who were similarly disappointed, and have 3 sets of friends who have been 2+ times and have experienced this downgrade in quality over the past few years. Despite everything we didn’t hate our stay but will certainly never be back, and we had thought this would be a lifelong resort for us.

Giving this a 2, because the location is amazing, it's right on the beach, the food is good, and the space is clean. But that's where it stops. We've been here since 5 nights and have 2 more to go. Concerns we've faced - on NYE they literally didn't have a single restaurant open that didn't require reservations. And NO reservations we're available. We along with other families with kids had to wait until way past 9 to get food. Then someone seated us at a table, only to be told that the table was being occupied by someone else and we had to get up. This is after waiting for over an hour for a table. When we protested, they told us that we are not respecting others, when we were the people (and we have a kid with us) being disrespected - The day we arrived they tried selling is their timeshare. Wasted multiple hours of our vacation time... and were rude / uncommunicative when we said we are opting out. This guy "Roger" literally questioned my intellect. - Customer Service has been inconsistent at best. Some good stuff, some not so good stuff. - Someone came to fix the AC filter in our room without checking with us. Our baby was asleep. - Again, the baby was asleep and they called to check if the Room Service was ok. - They drinks are watered down, and the house wine is awful. - There are never enough lounge chairs because they reserve 2 pools for their "privileged guests" plus half the lounge chairs on the third available pool - And soooo many things that I do not want to waste my time writing about here.

I've been to many all inclusive in the Mayan riviera area. This one is in some ways nice (most of the individuals that work here) but it has some weird quirks that I would avoid. To start most elevators don't work so if you are staying on a higher floor (3 or 4th) the stairs get annoying. There is no food on the beach or by the pool. If you want to eat join the line (even for the buffet) and wait to be seated (wait times 20+ mins) The buffet is hit or miss - the same dish across days can be either good or significantly overcooked. Members of our party got stomach bugs. The reservation dinners are better if you can get a reservation (they open daily at 10am and are sold out by 10:02 - couldn't get many even though we set alarms each day as we aren't in the privileged upgraded section). Activities and shows were okay. The drinks were super-sweet and IMHO poor quality. I recommend either Barcelo (tropical/colonial) or Iberostar for a quality experience. And what pisses me off is that watching the new Year's shows where they want you to buy a $150+ bottle of champagne so you can sit. (Mind you this is a show of our family dancing - not a professional performance). So empty seats but this all inclusive is nickel and diming us (oh and to get dinner reservations tonight we also had to buy bottles of alcohol). So skip and go somewhere more all-inclusive and customer focused.
