Ocean Coral & Turquesa All Inclusive

We arrived Dec 1 and I have been disappointed since. We booked the ElBeso all inclusive garden view room. When we arrived we asked for an upgrade to ocean view. We were offered a “opportunity” to upgrade to Privledge for $55.00/person/night which we decided to do even though we thought we had already booked all inclusive. Adding 1500.00 CDN to our trip. We did not receive any upgrade to our room I.e. jacuzzi on balcony, bottle of wine, etc. After wasting most of our first day here sweating in the lobby, we were finally shown to our room. Garden view is a stretch to say the least. Not a flower in sight! Day 2 we were to meet our Air Transat rep. at 11 am to arrange return to airport. He didn’t show up until 1200. More wasted time. We were told at the pool that we were sitting in the wrong area and they made us move. I have never experienced segregation before. We were told we could upgrade our stay for $90.00 USD per day per person to have the “all inclusive “ that we thought we had originally purchased. I don’t mind paying for services but, I feel deceived and misled by the website. When I asked at the privilege desk, she said that they don’t put this information on the website. If we had known this beforehand, we would not have booked this resort. When I pay for an all inclusive resort package I do not expect to be dishing out thousands of dollars extra. Needless to say, we will not be booking with this chain again. Now that I have written this I hope to enjoy our remaining 9 days here. Not as relaxing as anticipated 😩

We stayed here in the summer 2 adults, and 2 children, the hotel was ok defo not 5 star what we were sold! Pool area nice and clean, good selection of drinks, food was quite good for all inclusive!! The thing that let the holiday down was the dreadful smell of seaweed smelt like rotten eggs, I know it’s natural and can be help however we weren’t told about it to begin with so was very shocked! Also when we arrived we were put in a room that was very worn things broken and plug sockets hanging of the wall we complained straight away however it took them 5 days to me off after me constantly asking not the sort of service I expected from a 5 star hotel

We stayed for a week and enjoyed the privilege services with Butler Luis. The rooms were spacious, balconies were huge.

This was the fourth trip to OCT (Privilege) with my senior mother. Again, we had the best 2 weeks! The staff are absolutely wonderful and so kind. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Ricardo and Jose and the El Beso pool are a great team. Always smiling and having fun. Our butler Alberto (the best) is very professional and efficient. Anything we needed he attended to without hesitation. Emmanuel, Eduardo, Miguel and the other Privilege morning/lunch crew are amazing! Angel, Yasmin and Vitalino in the Privilege Lounge are so kind. Miss Elizabeth from the Blue Team is such a bright light. She has the best smile and will put you through and tough aqua class! We attended the Mayan dinner and it was really nice. Arturo did a great job as MC and the dancing, music, food and cultural experience was worth it. We are looking forward to next year already!

We come every year and look forward to seeing our pool concierge Jose Lopez and our privilege pool waiter Ricardo P. These two men are outstanding in everything they do. We have never been disappointed and the only thing that would disappoint us is if they were not there when we came,

Location is great. Getting there by transport bus was a bit long, 4 stops, close to an hour. Rooms are very nice, cleaning could be a little better. The patio was never wiped down, we couldn't sit on the chairs they had bird poop on them, yuck. It's a beautiful resort, grounds, pools, etc. The beach is nice but brownish water. If you're looking for blue Caribbean water this is not the place. Staff, excellent, happy, pleasant. Buffet food was ok. Lots of variety. Different theme nights. Route 66 very nice. Fridge in room always filled. Coffee, hit & miss. We didnt try the a la cartes.

We stayed as two couples for 9 nights in Nov 2025. Initially, we were informed that the hotel was at full capacity and we would be moved to a different room on day 2. The hotel had kindly upgraded us to a sea view at no extra cost due to this. However on day 8, we got randomly locked out of our room and had to speak with reception to sort this. Our room was clean and spacious. Cleaners were brilliant and I have no complaints once we were settled in our new room. Food has been very hit or miss. All of us became ill at some point during our stay and the buffet was not brilliant. The Italian restaurant, however, was great. The restaurant booking system is difficult to navigate and you are often left eating at the buffet even if you log on at 10am bang on. We had a drink spilt on us by a member of staff. We had to clean this ourselves. Shortly after this, I witnessed the staff member pointing at our table and laughing with a colleague. There was little consolidation from management and we had to ask for new napkins and another drink. Staff were generally lovely, particularly Antonio who gave us lots of information about excursions and was a friendly face around the resort. Location is good and there was no reason to leave the resort, although we did go into Puerto Morelos for a morning. Entertainment was good, particularly the silent disco and the fire show. We enjoyed our stay but would not be returning. I felt that the hotel was a 5* due to the amount that it offered (ie. on site coffee shop, bowling alley etc.) and not due to luxury/quality.

Well spread out resort we we’re by the children pool on second floor room was very good and big Cleaners could come anytime early or late Bars were well stocked and service in all were very good Breakfast and lunch were the best meals dinner maybe not so good the one complaint of buffet restaurant was the food was all over the place when you find what you want it was ok never went hungry though Me personally wouldn’t go back lots more hotels to choose

Great resort, very clean and well run! A special shout out to Mauricio who runs the Martini Bar. A certified Mixologist (one of not very many), he is a magician with a shaker and specializes in his own creations based on other types (non martini) of classic drinks, adding a Mexican twist. Of course he can also make a dynamite version of your favorite classic martini as well.

This is the 3rd year my 3 girlfriends and I stayed at the Ocean Coral and Turquesa resort. Love the resort and want to give a shout our to some incredible staff who provided great customer service: Victor, Isaac, Kevin, Bryan, Irving, Yasmin, Jemima, Manuel, Ricardo, Luis, Idalia, Daniel and Brandon. Our room was spacious and clean. The restaurants served good food and we favoured the Blue Moon for dinner and the Villa Marina for lunch. Mike's coffee served excellent cappuccinos, however, we would have liked to see it open before 8 a.m. as did many based on the attempts to open the door before 8 a.m.! The beach is wonderful for walking! Some sea weed but the gentlemen, on tractors, worked hard at keeping it clean. No coral and an easy walk in.
