From arriving to leaving everything about this hotel was wonderful. Staff, meals , pool We will be back

Everything was just well accommodating and just suited to our needs. The prices in the hotel restaurants are not that bad as well so overall it was quite enjoyable.

The breakfast buffet was incredible and the pool and facilities are great. My kids loved the giant bear in the room. It was very clean.

We had our own room but it had a locked bonne ting door to the room next door. This meant we could hear a lot of noise from the other room until quite late at night. We ordered an extra bed for my son which he said was very uncomfortable to sleep on.

The staffs are very friendly and always smile.

We’re staying at Shangri-La Chiang Mai for 4 nights and we enjoying every moment of it! From the moment we arrived, the staffs were attentive, friendly, really make us feel welcome. Mhee, with smile, she helped us check in to a higher floor room which overlooking the city view, and she also so kind to remind hotel offer kid complimentary breakfast if registered as hotel member. Not to mention voluntarily offered extra bedding for our kid. Ur 1st class journey experience starts here with Shangri-la! The room is immaculate, spacious and bed comfortable throughout our stay. Hotel location is very good; walking distance to night bazaar. We loved the pool which is big and well maintained. The water slide is a good fun addition. The breakfast comes with good variety and is quite delicious. Babe, she receives us daily with passion and smile, as well as rest of restaurant staffs. They all go as well as making you a memorable trip in Chiang Mai. We can't wait to come back!

The facilities were excellent, and the location was perfect. All of the staff were very kind and friendly. The swimming pool is highly recommended for families with children. We had a great stay for all 3 nights. No regrets at all. If I come back to Chiang Mai, I would definitely stay here again. Staff member Chaow was absolutely amazing and helped us with all of our plans and schedules. He made our stay even more special. Thank you Shangri-La Chiang Mai for such a perfect experience!

I was warned against including Chiang Mai on our South East Asia itinerary with a 2 year old as there is no beach etc but I still added it and my daughter loved staying in Shangri-la Chiang Mai. This hotel is super kids friendly with huge pool, water slides, outdoor play area, kids menu in the restaurants, workshops, special cutlery, coloring during meals. On top of this, the team made sure we had connecting rooms so space and privacy for the nanny and they built a nice private tour itinerary to ginger farm, Angel park sticky water fall which I brought her helmet so she could climb it with the guide. Highly recommend this for nature and adventure seeking families with kids

Had the best birthday ever with Shangrila Chiang Mai. Nine, Mo, Mee, Nanny, Kim, chef Eddy and Noah went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout the stay I had an absolutely wonderful experience with the hotel staff. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. No request ever felt like too much trouble. What really stood out was their warm attitude and attention to detail. Whether it was offering helpful recommendations, assisting with arrangements, or simply greeting me with a smile each day, they made the whole experience feel personal and memorable. Honestly, this is some of the best service I’ve ever received. The team truly sets a high standard for hospitality, and they played a huge part in making my stay so enjoyable. I would come back again just because of them.

I am currently staying here and I love it. Impeccable grounds, fantastic service and just a haven of luxury to return to anytime you venture out into the hustle bustle of Chiang mai, feels like you step back into an oasis every time you return. I booked a terrace room as I enjoy being able to open a garden door or air a wet swimming costume outside and it has worked out perfectly. The pool and relaxing around it is great, pool side attention amazing and the food great. The jewel in the crown however (in my humble opinion) is the spa, if you enjoy spa treatments then visiting this spa is essential as it is INCREDIBLE. Considering there are massage shops around every 4th shop on an any vast street of Chiang Mai for considerably cheaper still you will be blown away by the quality of treatment at the Chi spa as their ladies are experts then add to that the immaculate surroundings of the spa ambience and your in spa heaven. So far I had a acupressure facial, a hair oil/head massage, a Lanna massage and a body scrub and all of them were the best treatments EVER, I felt like a small child being looked after by her mum it’s that good. I plan to return again today as I am now officially addicted to the spa. Breakfast is usual Shangri La style of international fare, everything any visitor from any country would find a plate of to satisfy them (from English and continental breakfasts to dim sum, curry, every fruit on earth and yogurts etc) and the staff there very attentive especially a very animated lovely man who’s name I don’t know but when he bought my coffee I looked up and thought he should be on stage or in the entertainment industry. It’s not a Shangri La competition but if it was, Chiang Mai beats Bangkok where I stayed over Songkran period, which was good but Chiang Mai is excellent. This branch just has their hotel running like a dream.

J'ai rarement été dans un hôtel avec un personnel aussi sympathique, on avait l'impression qu'ils avaient tous été cloner tellement que ils étaient tous gentils on ressent le professionnalisme dans le choix du personnel
