Can not recommend and thank the Team @ Shangri-La Chiang Mai enough. Perfectly situated with Chiang Mai City for all the places you wish to visit within the Provence. This was our second visit/stay to this fabulous hotel. The hotel offer's you all you need for a holiday/vacation, from Beautiful gardens, Out door pool which caters for everyone, to Laundry team, several wonderful places within grounds to eat and drink. The welcoming that we received is out standing, we felt we were returning home. It was a huge pleasure meeting the hotel general manager Gabriele Lombardo who was so welcoming we felt like part of his Shangri- La family. The staff/team were excellent, friendly, polite, helpful, went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable, we feel that the treatment from all the team was first class. We are fortunate to have met so many lovely member's of the team and also re- connect with past members we consider as friend's/family. A special thankyou to Mr Gabriele Lombardo, Thip, Arieus, Tank, Jerry, Moon, Aun, Kim, Khem, Nanney, Name, Fern, Tu, Bell & Molly (Housekeeping), Aumamp & Praew (Chi, Spa) and all the team in front and behind the scene's of running this lovely hotel smoothly, sorry i can't remember all their name's. The day excursion's lady's, driver Larry whom took excellent care of us when we booked a day trip to Chiang Rai, and all your concierge/security team. It was so lovely to be back and felt generally very welcoming. We will return again, and again but sadly not at the moment.

The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood but still within a short walk of the Night Bazaar, which made the location very convenient. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of options each morning. The fitness and wellness area is excellent, with a large gym, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and outdoor pool.

Our room was on a high floor with a view of the distant mountains, but the surrounding neighborhood is fairly quiet, so there isn’t much to look at immediately around the hotel.

From the moment we arrived, the kindness and genuine hospitality of the staff made us feel truly welcome. Every team member was attentive, professional, and always ready with a warm smile. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with very clean and comfortable spaces that make it easy to relax and enjoy the stay. A special mention goes to the breakfast: fresh, varied, and very well organized, with many delicious options to start the day in the best way. Thank you to the whole team for the care and attention. Looking forward to visiting again!
