The Juliet Hotel

Property is extremely rundown, broken tiles on the bathtub in the most expensive room, which is the presidential suite. It is not cleaned properly and found an unused condom and a dead roach. Upon arrival. Whoever owns and maintains this property does a terrible job.

We are very very disappointed with The Juliet Hotel. For the moment, the Juliet hotel made us pay on the day of our departure an amount of €442.65 or $461.15 for 2 nights (deposit taken on arrival at the hotel on November 20, 2024) in addition than the initial invoice which provided for an amount of $413.80. June 23, 2024 and much more than the new invoice of November 22, 2024 in the amount of $258.90 including a reduction granted due to the absence of breakfast and other inconveniences... WHEN WILL WE BE REFUNDED $202? Additionally, we don't understand why Hotel.com still shows breakfast when booking Hotel Juliet when breakfast seems not to have been served for weeks or even months. Finally, we were able to verify that most of the criticisms issued since June 2024 on this Hotel are very real.

We had the pleasure of staying at The Juliet Hotel in Lafayette, Louisiana, and really enjoyed it. Our room was large, nicely decorated, with a very generous bathroom and very comfortable. The location is also perfect—right in the heart of Lafayette, making it easy to explore the local culture, music, and cuisine. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and superb live music at Hideaway on Lee, just round the corner from The Juliet Hotel.

Tv didn’t work, door keys never worked. Room could of been cleaned better

This hotel was everything I wanted it to be. We chose it because we were going to see a Rush tribute band at Rock n Bowl, and the hotel is literally across the street from the venue. After spending our time in this beautiful hotel, I quickly chose to rebook it for our next visit on November 30. The building and facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The desk clerk even went to our room when we walked across the street to Pop's Poboy's (highly recommend) to figure out why we couldn't access the TV menu. There were only three negatives, but they were very minor. Two negatives were that outside of the hotel rooms, the building was warmer than I'd want it to be, and we didn't have a trash can in the hotel room. Neither of these was terrible. Breakfast wasn't served on the Sunday that we were there, but a friend had recommended Carpe Diem, and I'm almost relieved breakfast wasn't available because we enjoyed that restaurant and highly recommend it.

We didn’t get breakfast as promised. Sticky floor in the room. No soap or toilet paper in the bathroom.

This was a very sad hotel. First, the staff I encountered were courteous and helpful and my room was clean. However, the hotel seems very unloved and not well taken care of. The amenities mentioned were not there. The toilet lurched and the seat slipped to that I almost fell. The tiles in the bathtub were coming off. There were no toiletries except a piece of soap that smelled like cigarette ash. The pool appeared dirty and had a broken water feature. There did not appear the be any breakfast coffee or small meal available as mentioned in the ad. This is a very sad place. If provided attention, this could be a beautiful place. But it has the feel of someone just trying to make money off unsuspecting guests. Many older hotels are not perfect but are beautiful and well-loved. This one is not. Sad.

Our room had cockroaches

Stayed before andlooked forward to returning. Doorkeys frequently wouldnt work. Coulndt enter near parking with key. Front door lobby locked had to wait for someone to manully unlock let you in. Paid for suite. Toilet seat not attacted bidet not workiing tiles broken and missing around the tub. The use to offer anazing breakfast. Just seems they have declined.
