Playa Palms Beach Hotel

I love the employees beautiful clean hotel. The sarcoso by the beach they should clean it everyday instead of letting it get overwhelming.

Smells like fish! The water is very muddy & you CANNOT get in. DO NOT BE TRICKED BY THESE Pictures. Locks to doors are sketchy. No chairs at the pool. The pool is shaded…no sun.

I did a video about this property on my Youtube channel: LaPawsBound. We stayed here for one night in April 2025. I talk about the hotel's proximity to 5th Ave, the staff, the room, ordering dinner in, the pool, and the beach. I give my honest feedback and if we would stay here again.

Beautiful cozy place with spectacular view. Nice fresh breakfast

The hotel overall was great, we were a block away from 5th Avenue and hotel has its own private beach. We went with children and the hotels beach tide was too strong for the kids to get in so we had to walk to the other side of the beach. The only down side was there’s only street parking and we got a ticket for supposedly not paying the meter. We didn’t want to go fight it, but we were wrongfully ticketed. Be careful it’s a scam, save every ticket once’s paid.

It was a charming property, and looks pretty much like the pictures. It was a good location, convenient to everything, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have a lot of charm and character. If you're looking for typical cookie cutter hotel, this is not the place for you. There isn't a restaurant or workout facility. Most rooms look out to the ocean and they all have a patio with a hammock. The hammock was difficult to sit in, i think it was hung incorrectly. It's an open courtyard atmosphere, and there was a family earth kids that had 4 rooms. They were a loud group. I asked someone to ask them to keep it down. They did, and they were quiet for a bit. I think it's the luck of the draw, everyone else there was quiet and respectful. The beach is erroded, but you can still walk along the beach. There is a fan or a/c, I prefer the fan with the screen door so I could hear the waves. That was wonderful. I would definitely return. If you have a big group, this could be a very fun place.

Love this place ; 3rd time staying there; landscaping is amazing as are the rooms. A lot of value. Quiet too despite being three blocks from main shopping / restaurant area. Beach is ok (small fishing boats parked in water) but sunning areas are fine. Some confusion using an Amex card through Expedia but that got resolved. Will definitely come back. Thnx for great stay
