Playa Palms Beach Hotel

The beach is eroded by the waves, but a good base for activities. Very convenient for shopping / dining.

Very good experience. Cordially management. They take care of guests. I hardly recommend it either for a weekend or more days.

Likes: It was a beautiful property to watch the sunrise while having breakfast served; the beach was beautiful, the room was lovely, front desk service was GREAT, conveniently close to 5th Ave. Dislikes: the power boats anchored at the beachfront (which of course you'll notice they don't show pictures of the beachfront). A few property maintenance issues; had to have a room change.

Friendly staff and perfectly located to the restaurants, shopping, and nightlife.

Property smells like sewer, I almost threw up every morning on walked out of the room.

This boutique hotel is in a prime location, and walkable to all you need- yet tucked away from Quinta Avenida - 5th ave. The staff was great!! Mariana at the reception was very helpful and the security at night made the space feel safe and welcoming. The rooms were as described, clean and it was nice to have the balcony area with hamock. The pool has specific times, so no early morning or night swims. Mexico is currently challenged with sargassum at all the beaches, including the beachfront of the hotel. There is no parking on site, although you can park on the street. I recommend downloading the app and you can add funds as needed. Paid parking is from 10am to 10pm. The street parking ia strictly enforced. So make sure and pay for parking! Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return and also recommended.
