Best Western Plus Olive Branch Hotel & Suites

The smell of the room was terrible. The room was dirty and the hotel itself felt unkept. The bar of soap was opened and the toilet tissue was sitting on the counter because the holder was broken. The coffee maker was next to the toilet. Would not recommend this hotel.

Overall stay was just ok. The rooms are rather small and location seems dated. I smelled smoke in the hallway!! But the most disappointing thing is we were traveling to the area for a game and got there an hour early. We asked the guy at the desk if it would be possible for us to get into our room. The other travelers at the Drury Inn was let into their room. He was rather rude and matter of fact when he said there would be no rooms or check ins until 3! And then he tells my husband that his hotel sells out every day-like treating us this way wouldn’t affect his bookings. I just thought it was rude because I saw no cleaning people or very many cars on the lot. When we returned, at 3:30 he was gone and another worker was on her phone in an office visible from the front desk. She had my key ready so apparently he had told her the situation. She wasn’t very friendly either! I would choose another location if I had to stay in the area again based on customer service alone. We travel a lot, so I know this isn’t standard or normal.

We walked in and the lady at the front desk told me I was lucky I still had my room because they don’t hold rooms if you don’t pay for them in advance. When I booked at Hotel.com they told me that I pay at the property. But the lady said that’s a lie when I had proof but she didn’t want to hear that she just kept going on and on about we were lucky . Never again will I stay at this hotel very rude and not helpful

We had three guest and had 2 towels. Went down for a third towel and it looked like it had the mange. Huge clumps of the actual towel was missing. Had no coffee cups and no coffee pot so we could make no coffee in the room.

When I first walked into room noticed that cover to air/heating unit was on the floor but air was working. I did not bother calling front desk as I was tired and just wanted to shower, eat and rest.

The staff was very helpful!

Room was clean. Staff was very nice. I would definitely come here again if I visit Memphis again.
