A country retreat that is perfect for everybody. They made us and our pampered pooch very welcome. The 15 century part looked amazing and the new extensions they have kept in parr.

Lots of character the staff were lovely and very helpful, sticky toffee pudding was the best I have ever had in my life! The spa bath in the room was spectacular and the breakfast was a little bit over priced but very good.

The only issue I had was the food in the restaurant wasn’t to my taste, personally I found it quite bland. The duck breast wasn’t seared enough for my liking, there was a lot of potential for the dish which I expected to be amazed about but was quite disappointed.
