Room well equipped. I loved the spa bath and Fire TV. Beds comfortable, and good quality bed linen. Room clean, apart from damp issues highlighted in the negative section.

Room smelt very damp and fusty. Window was a struggle to open. I made reception aware on checkout that my bathroom abstraction fan never seemed to come on, and that was probably where the smell came from. But, it's a shame this wasn't picked up by cleaning staff prior, as it did smell pretty bad. Mould on wooden window frame. Water pressure not really good enough for the size of shower head, meaning it more 'drips' on you, instead of 'flows' onto you. Be aware - if you book direct, you get breakfast included, if you book via booking.com, you don't, even though it's the same price. This caught me out as I assumed breakfast would be included as it is if you book direct, and it was the same price.

Beautiful grounds and building

Lovely and comfortable, all staff were lovely and welcoming.

Lovely area, very quiet countryside. Comfortable bed. Cosy little annex room. Did not have any food or drinks on the property so cannot comment but heard very positive things.

Bathroom really needs some tlc. Black mould on the silicone around the bath. Lino flooring edges not in good condition. Light in the stairs not working so the lamp replacement is on all night shining underneath the door to the room.

The location was nice, and the food was good when we got it, morning staff were very helpful

Long wait for food, which was not all hot when it came out. No breakfast included in the room price. Room was clean, but not worth what was paid for the room as shower didnt work properly, bed was uncomfortable

Food was good but could have been hotter

Service was very slow ,bath and shower didn't work as they should ,we had the most expensive room but in was very bland more like a budget room.

Staff very helpful, menu accommodating of preferred diet & meals really nice

Absence of lighting in grounds making navigation to the hotel car park on arrival after dark difficult
