The Oaksmere

The Oaksmere is a lovely hotel in a lovely place. The food was great and the bar and aviary provided an excellent venue for the event I attended.

There was no spare loo roll in my bathroom and I couldn't reach anyone on reception when I called about it .

Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Nice facilities

The staff were brilliant. Especially Ana. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The consummate professional. A real credit to the hotel.

Staff were very helpful and friendly particularly the young lady at reception. I think her name was Natalie. I loved the food and the room had a lovely big bath . The bed was very comfortable.

The telephone wasn't working and the TV remote didn't work.

The food was excellent. The service in the restaurant was excellent.

Room not cleaned properly (used vape on floor). Smoke alarm had a plastic bag taped over it, presumably by previous guests. Bit of a cheesy wedding hotel. Could be lovely.

Lovly location, nice hotel, whirl pool bath.

Staff not very friendly, but on saw a few, many issues in room need sorting, an inappropriate staff member.

It really was a lovely location. The rooms where spacious spa bath was my evening to relax. The grounds where lovely was such a lovely atmosphere.

Dinner at the restaurant was so delicious. Bedrooms were lovely, beds so comfy and jacuzzi bath was amazing.

The low ceilings in some rooms (you are pre warned) but not ideal if you’re tall - but not a major downfall of the place.
