The Riverside House Hotel

A lovely hotel with clean, comfortable rooms and great food. The staff were attentive, efficient and friendly.

The staff were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. The food was fabulous and very reasonably priced.

Our room was dated and a bit tatty with quite bad condensation and mould on the windows.

Lovely looking hotel. Decor is very nice. It is uncluttered & clean. My bed was so comfortable and the added touches of sweets & biscuits is always nice. What stood out to me though was the staff. Jason on reception was so friendly & accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The young lady who worked the bar with Jason (he gets about 🙂) in the evening was chatty & friendly. Always willing to help. And Laura who served us breakfast stayed smiling even though i asked to make a few changes. The staff were genuinely what made this visit so pleasant. I hope the Riverside appreciate what they have got in their staff.

The room was large very clean and well decorated, comfortable bed and I liked the little touch of a dish of sweets in the room. Food was very good with generous portions and breakfast was really good qualitya
