Embassy Suites by Hilton Nashville SE Murfreesboro

We are Hilton Honors members. We stayed at this location on August 8th and then August 9 (one day). We came here reading the reviews and we thought the hotel wouldn’t be bad (even though it had some interesting reviews 😅) and we went to the hotel. First impression: Lobby. For the people who don’t know, the hotel opened in 2008! I’ve stayed at Embassy Suites locations for a long time and they are usually modern. We expected that from the pictures the hotel would be renovated. It wasn’t. Looked like it came straight out of a 1998 hotel. We checked in to Room 209. We wouldn’t be there for long… Once we got in, there was a big flashback to the big 1998 as I mentioned. Not redone ever. Now, we had 5 people with us, so someone had to sleep on the sofa-bed. We opened the bed and there was a huge blood stain. Maids must of missed the bed or they are just lazy (they are probably just lazy actually). Looked at the carpet of our hotel floor, and there was tape everywhere, holding the carpet together. It was even in the hallway. Nice… The left hand side 2nd floor elevator down button didn’t work, but the right one does. Not to mention the elevators are fast but make creepy noises and also smell a little bit. Can’t put my finger on it, must be a new mix of smells. Great. We checked the bathroom and someone let a huge skiddy crap mark. Didn’t have soap in the restroom, so we asked the front desk for some soap. Maid comes up, gives us the worst look, one of my family members says “thank you” only to then just walk away. Next: My family member was in the car when there was a huge scene going on. You love when that happens, don’t cha’? There was a lady leaning against our car with the shortest mini skirt on, and barely any top on. There they had a ticket on their car windshield, and then the police came over to the lady’s car. What an even better sign! Yay. The she pointed at us. We were scarred from that, so we moved the car. After the sofa blood stain, we moved to room 219. After we moved, carpet was worse but sofa bed clean. We also got $150 out of the $200+ that we paid. Dang. We then left immediately the next day. What a great experience. Thanks, Hilton. I don’t thank I’ll be staying at an Embassy property again. I was expecting more. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. -Reviewer

I think there is a lot of work that needs to be addressed concerning customer service at this location. I'm lifetime Diamond and have stayed over 1300 nights at Hilton properties so I am very aware of how service should go. 1. I filled out the CC authorization form so that my family could check in with no issues. Upon arrival it seemed like there was an issue and I had to call the FD to confirm and provide the name of the associate I sent the form back 2. 2. I requested an upgrade to the premium room. They told my family they werent available, but I took a screen shot showing that the rooms were available. I asked that since room is not "available" can you at least put the snacks that would go in the premium room. FD advised he would look into it, and never followed up. 3. When my family got to the room there was hair all over the bed as well as some type of black stuff on the comforter. Rather than bringing them up a new key, they made my family come back down to get a new key. 4. AFTER they checked in they were advised of the water being shut off , not BEFORE but literally after they checked in. I called the hotel and asked why they were informed before checking in , and the MOD Jaz or whatever her name is advised they were just told about that issue that Morning. Meaning they should have been informing guests of this. She was very short as well as condescending on the phone. When asked to speak with another MOD, she kept on talking. 5. My family NEVER received welcome waters or a welcome bag. They drunk the water in the room, but then we were charged.

$16.47 is what you pay for parking one night. Was not mentioned when booking on this site. Which is ridiculous to pay for a total of 13 hours. Overall the hotel was not bad. The only thing in the room was after taking a shower and stepping on carpet barefoot it felt nasty. We didn't stay long to eat breakfast.

Killed two bugs and had to call maintenance to unclog bathroom sink first time we used it. No walk in shower; tub only and harder for older people. Parking was $14.00 per night

All the staff I encountered were very friendly, efficient, and helpful! There was buildup in the bath/shower, water damage on the wall in the sitting area, the sofa was clearly quite old and uncomfortable, and there was dirt/dust buildup in corners.

The property is nice but certainly not what it used to be. AC had a hard time keeping up, especially in the lobby. The breakfast options are nice and the pool was enjoyable but both could use some refreshing. The staff were very nice and professional. Paying for parking is hard to justify since you get nothing for the money(not gated, no security, etc). We might be back but will be more tempted to try somewhere else next time.

It has been a while staying at the Embassy. Overall the experience was not bad, however the conditions of the hotel rooms need updating. In my room, the shower head is very old, towels are not thick and fluffy, carpet had old stains, and the bed linens and duvet are thin and not fluffy. The dark browns and old gold colors possibly just make the rooms look dark. The workers were very nice ( breakfast staff, front desk, and bartenders)!! I didn’t have a bad experience, the hotel is great, but the rooms can be modernized & updated.
