"Erholsame Urlaub in einem schönen Hotel"

7.0

Die direkte Lage am Meer und die drei Pools.

Im Zimmer bzw. Badezimmer/WC roch es leider stark nach Abluft aus der Küche. Liegen am Meer schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

"One word - Amazing"

10.0

Just come back from this amazing chilled quiet beautiful friendly hotel very very clean big shout to the cleaners our rooms were cleaned immaculately every day. The staff were lovely all round a few a bit tired but it is the end of the season always very very polite, big shout to the fab reception staff and George restaurant manager and staff in the restaurants. Only one thing we were not aware what drinks were free so ask the minute you sit down. ROOM 1111 Chose half board, breakfast and tea, Complimentary, beach bag, flip flops, slippers, dressing gowns not sure to keep, loved these extra touches, little bottles of hair conditioner, shampoo molton brown, body lotion, body wash, didn't see any hand wash just a soap would of rather had a hand wash. Watched the beautiful sunrise from our balcony every morning stunning stunning view. Weather - Great weather, couple of windy days but we welcomed this, if you are prone to getting chilly just need a light cardi in the evenings we never needed one. Rooms - Room 1 - Double view, double balcony . table and chairs, stunning sea view patio doors. Our room number 1111 was perfect, 2 good sized shower rooms 2 toilets loved this. Comfy double bed looking out onto the balcony doors mosquito screens to the beautiful sea view, dressing table mirror hanging rail and draws, shower room. tv. Room 2 - 2 single beds together, bigger dressing table with mirror, bigger homey area, shower room, hanging rail, plenty of draws, safe, lots of shelves, tv. balcony doors with mosquito blind, table and chairs, beautiful sea view from everywhere in the rooms. Small area to dry clothes on balcony could be bigger. Decent room area by the front door, with a coffee pod machine, kettle, tea and coffee etc facilities filled daily, good size area with fridge NOTE the free 2 bottes of water and fanta drinks etc daily are free we didn't see this on the info sheet ( no info on what was free in hotel ) so didn't use the fanta drinks etc a bit annoyed , decent wall area here to hang the dressing gowns provided and towels as the bathrooms definitely need more towel rails. Both toilets constantly run when flushed just keep pushing button in very annoying noise slight smell occasionally came from bathrooms but kind of expect this in Greece but not that bad. Dont leave any food or crumbs on floor out of nowhere loads tiny ants but my jungle spray seemed to solve this same on the beach massive ants, Beach - ummmm not the best could be tidied up a bit very pebbly black sand if any, going into the sea and out was very very difficult must have beach shoes on, the sea was beautiful made up for this, clear see fishes etc could float for ages, gets cold when going out further, used a lilo loved it but not on windy days be careful. Sunbeds comfy but lot need replacing, can only use the left side and always lots of beds available and signs saying cant reserve etc. Would be nice if they made a man made beach that would be amazing. Walk right round to the right lovely areas big rocks to sunbathe on and noone around could do with a clear up. Out and about - SAFE WHEELS - hired a white beach buggy for 2 days great company and staff were lovely, great experience went to paradise beach what a difference this made going to a lovely sandy beach definitely recommend getting out and about. Kos town boat hire - hired a little boat to go to Bluelagoon not such a great experience but fun be careful with the weather if windy we shouldn't of gone out, lot of the companies said no boats for 2 days because of the wind, once we hit the break needle point was scary , boat too small for weather conditions and engine kept cutting out and the GPS stopped working so we came back straight away, no one around which made us think what if any problems out at sea, luckily partner could park the boat and tie it up and lost 50 euros Maria wouldn't give us the full amount back thought was very unfair they did bring our money back to the hotel so can trust these guys the next day minus the 50 euros as no one around on the day, i will say though the guy that showed us the boat and did the safe tutorial was brilliant friendly professional didn't rush and went through literally everything and was contactable just not around to get us back in port to park and give us our money back . Massage - sister hotel next door i got Mia wow she was amazing she knew the body and sorted out my shoulder and neck thank you Mia what a beautiful soul she was just wish had time to have a few more with her please thank her (From Loretta), staff were lovely in this spa lovely chilled rooms and the vibe definitely recommend book early very busy all the time. Loved our time at this beautiful hotel thank you x

"The hotel was pleasant, clean and in beautiful surroundings but the food lets it down a little bit"

6.0

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds on multiple levels on a hill overlooking the sea. The views across the sea are absolutely lovely at all times but especially morning and dusk. The rooms are very clean but a little on the small side. We stopped in a family apartment which was two rooms both with bathrooms. It was a little strange to us that the double bed was in the tiniest room with very little space inside. The shower wall and toilet were three feet away from the bed via a glass wall with frosting across the middle. The kids room with the single beds was huge. The apartment had a minibar with branded drinks refilled daily. Apart from the weird setup the rooms overall were lovely, we had space in there and two balconies overlooking the sea with wonderful views. The only criticism is that we were on the top tier of the hotel so getting back to the room involved lots of steps and walking uphill. It was a decent workout though I suppose. The pools were lovely, good temperature and the one past the restaurant was deep enough for diving. The sunbeds around the pools were some of the comfiest and best we’ve seen. The challenge was getting them. There are signs everywhere saying don’t reserve them but if you didn’t get up early to do it you didn’t get one. All told though we had lots of fun in the pools however, we were a little disappointed at what felt like a lack of any sort of day programme. Not even water polo for example. Luckily we were in a group so we had multiple children with us but if we didn’t they’d have been very bored. The pool bars were good and served alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks during the day and regularly had lots of cold bottles of water available. This was a really cool aspect. There was sunbed service but naturally it took a little longer than nipping to the bar to pick up things ourself so we didn’t rely on it. The entertainment at night time was good, lots of singing and performers brought into the hotel. We did spend a few nights down in Kos Town though so can’t speak for all of it. Again the challenge with the night time entertainment was getting seats which if you weren’t eating early you would struggle. I would call out George and the team though, they went above and beyond to pull spare seats and tables together to make sure people got a seat. The food was probably the most disappointing thing about the hotel. Whilst it catered for a variety of tastes and cuisines it felt very repetitive after a couple of days and on a 7 night stay we did get bored and had to eat out in Kos town. The pool bar restaurant was the best place to eat lunch rather than the main restaurant. All in all I wouldn’t go back with kids, but if you’re a couple or group of adults looking to relax it’s a cleans and pleasant hotel in beautiful surroundings. If you can overlook the repetitiveness of the food this would be good for you. Also don’t forget you have a resort tax to pay on arrival (I think ours was about €100) and if you need a late check out there are no courtesy rooms but you can extend your room for a fee. Again I think ours was about €90 to secure our room until 6pm.

"Another wonderful holiday"

10.0

Second visit. Wonderful hotel but staff are exemplary. George who manages to make sure everything runs smoothly at the restaurant is just the best! Adina in the bar is the best waitress we have ever met and will go a long way. Only criticism is that the tiles around the pool can get very slippery, a few people slipped over.

"amazing holiday"

8.0

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Beginning with all the personell not one of them was unfriendly to us. All of them were jeerful and happy all the time. The room was clean and we had a great view of the sea. The location is perfect in my opinion because it takes only 15 minutes to get to the city centre. The atmosphere in the hotel was very calm and chill during the day and at night it was possible to have fun, listen to music and have some drinks. Overall it was a great holiday at a great hotel!

"Great hotel"

8.0

This hotel and the staff have been amazing. The food is great and the buffet restaurant changes every night. Entertainment is the best I’ve seen in a long time. A few shout out, George the manager in the grey uniform is so friendly and helpful, always saying hello, will help you with anything you need. Jimmy at breakfast and lunch is very attentive, will have our drinks on the table before we have even asked. Romero at dinner is also very attentive and friendly, having a laugh and joke with. Adina at the main bar is excellent, quick service and again remembers your drink order. All four of the above go above and beyond for you. Overall our stay for two weeks has been great, the only thing they can improve on is the al a carte (Italian) restaurant the service needs to be improved. Only two members of staff, it was slow. I had to go up and ask for a drink as no one asked me. Book a late dinner slot if you would like to go there. Me and my partner would definitely come back to this hotel

"Great staff, a lot of stairs to climb."

6.0

The staff here is amazing, and the staff made this vacation pleasant for us despite the challenges. They are hard working, pleasant, attentive, kind, always smiling.

The suite I got for my family, with an infant, was on the farthest point of the hotel. Meaning to go to the closest restaurant or to the sea you have to climb 100+ steps. This could have been okay if they had excellent transportation around the hotel, but this was not the case. You have to call a number to ask for a ride, and your call is not always picked up, and when you can reach picked up the meet-up with the driver is not simple. If you have such a large resort in such steep geography, and for the money I paid, I expect a ring shuttle going non-stop and I can rely that I will be picked up in 5 minutes. Unfortunately the transport here was not reliable, which ended up with me and my family including 70 year old and an infant climbing 60 floors a day on average. Also the route between lobby-our room going through a highway was a disappointment. Often times I did not feel like I was in a resort but in a random facility. Shortly they have to invest in serious infrastructure to make this a real resort experience. It could be a pleasant experience if you get a room closer to restaurants and the sea, but I would advise you not to risk it. Not good value for money.
