Dimitra Beach Hotel & Suites

Food was great - lots of vegetables and greek traditional food. There were also ping-pong tables for my kids to enjoy. Really nice thing is that the resort has 4 pool decks so there was never a crowd.

Our second two week stay this year. That speaks for itself. George the Services Manager is truly outstanding. I think he should be called The Supreme Commander. He is literally everywhere, directing his fabulous team. To name just a few, Jimmy at breakfast, Romero at dinner and John in the Greek restaurant. Christopher at reception ensured we were allocated the room we requested. He us such a lovely man. He goes above and beyond to please. Christopher is definitely one of the reasons we returned for a second visit. Everything about this hotel is great. Every member of staff are unbelievable so polite and helpful. Will be back next year PG.

We spent a week at the wonderful Dimitra Beach Resort, 4th to the 11th September. This was our sixth stay. We strongly recommend the beach front bungalows. Our room was beautiful and very clean. The staff are excellent with a special mention for Anastasis and Jeni in the Flavours Restaurant, they looked after us so well each morning and at lunch-time. The evening restaurant and bar staff were terrific. We love the Dimitra Beach and will be back. Please note there are lots of steps. We look upon them as our holiday workout!

We had an amazing stay at Dimitra Beach Hotel! The service manager was outstanding — always so kind and attentive, and he made sure we had a lovely table every time. The whole team was incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating such a warm atmosphere throughout our stay. Our room was spotless and cleaned every day, and the food was simply delicious — fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. And the views… just breathtaking! Almost every restaurant and terrace offers a stunning view of the sea, making every meal feel special. We truly enjoyed every moment and would love to come back again. Thank you, Dimitra Beach Hotel, for such a fantastic experience! 💙

We booked this hotel expecting a 5-star experience, but unfortunately it fell far short. When we arrived, our room didn’t even have a proper shower — just a handheld shower head. After raising this with reception multiple times, we had to remind them three separate times before anything was done. Even then, the “solution” was simply fixing the small handheld shower to the wall, which still wasn’t acceptable. For a hotel that claims to be 5-star, the least you can expect is a working, proper shower. The breakfast restaurant (located underneath reception) was another disappointment. The staff there were unprofessional and did not provide the level of service you’d expect. They all avoided the guests in the hotel. The reception staff were polite and professional but they were let down by the restaurant staff. George who runs the restaurants can do better as he just shouted at staff rather than getting stuck in himself. He was not professional either. This hotel advertises itself as luxury, but the reality was closer to 3-star quality. A real shame, as the basics — like attentive service and proper room facilities — should be a given. I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay here again.

Returned last weekend from our 8 night stay here. We went as a couple and stayed in a Seaview bungalow. What a lovely place, if you are looking for somewhere - relaxing, clean & friendly then this is the place. Good selection of food, good entertainment. I would like to give special recognition to Tania who runs the bottom pool and bar....she works so hard - never stops, she would bring water to everyone regularly, take your orders from poolside, run the bar, serve food and drinks with a friendly smile everyday...thank you Tania. Views are amazing. If there was anything negative to mention would be... there is a lot of stairs, the stoney seabed and no pool tables or anything to do in the day if you wanted a break from the heat of the sun. But this would not stop us going back next year. In a nutshell....great place.

Not a 5 * hotel. My first time in a 5* hotel but I noticed no difference here than any 4* I’ve stayed in. The reception staff were great and the cleaners were always friendly but mainly the staff made us feel like an inconvenience most days. At meals we were not always offered a drink on arrival and getting table service in the Veranda bar was really difficult. There were plenty of staff but often we would go up to the bar because they would not come round to our table. One bar maid was running around like crazy while another just stood around. The hotel is beautiful and well kept outside but the bungalows need an overhaul. We had maintenance out for a light flickering which was done fairly quickly but there were lots of other niggles with the room. Beds were very comfortable and I was pleased it was a duvet not blankets. There was a big gap under the front door so leaves were blown in making the floor very dirty. And there was no light in the main area so it was just bedside lamps which we often had unplugged for charging devices as there were only 3 plug sockets in the room. The food was mostly nice but again not 5*. Breakfast was the worst. The hot food was cold, not even tepid. Nothing was labelled and as I need a low sugar diet I wasn’t sure what yogurt, pastry or cereal I could eat. The snacks were pretty rubbish too although readily available. There was a lot of choice though and a lot of it was very tasty. I was most looking forward to the swim up bar but we had to get out to order because the bar staff didn’t come down. And it was clear she didn’t want to have to bring it down to us after ordering. Not much point of a swim up bar if it isn’t served. Big disappointment. There were no water stations so we went through dozens of water bottles while we were there. Overall quite disappointed with our stay where we treated ourselves to a 5* hotel for a special occasion.

Stayed for 9 nights in September the hotel is very clean, food is varied and very good. The staff are friendly and helpful but must give special mention to Adina in in the main bar for her hard work making sure everyone was happy.
