Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Omaha Downtown

Clean and nice staff.

We would give it a 4.5, but it wouldnt let us. Beds were comfortable and staff super friendly and helpful. The price was good. Only downfall was it was a little loud and we thought it had a hot tub. However, pool was small, but warm and very nice. We would stay again.

There were cracks in the walls and ceiling, no cold water in the bathroom, dark water came out of the shower faucet, one decorative curtain was no there, one switch didn't do anything and dim lighting in the room.

The neighborhood is close to creighton university. The diversity shows a neighborhood in transition. The walkable restaurants are fabulous, with an intellectual following. The neighborhood isn’t walkable at night yet, but given time, it will be.

The doors to enter the property are always locked even during the day hours which gives the impression the area is unsafe. There is a fee for parking but one night there were zero spots in the lot and I was told to park in a handicap spot or along the curb, which I would not do. I waited 45 minutes for someone to leave so that I could park. One of the night there was yelling outdoors that woke my children up. They also did not service the room during our stay and we had to request additional towels.

Easy check in, guy at the desk was great. Gym was a disappointment. Good breakfast.
