"Great staff, average hotel, expensive parking. "

6.0

The room had several issues. The headboard was in front of a window during sub freezing temperatures. Cold air was leaking around it the whole time. The shower could not be fully engaged. While trying to shower, half of the water was coming out of the faucet instead of the shower head. Parking is only valet. The hotel charges $38 per day with an additional $7 when they bring you your vehicle and another $7 to park it. A total of $52 of parking and one trip out is a bit much. We were here ten days. Some days we did not venture out, but that added up quick. Always end on a posits note, they say. The staff was incredible. Some of the best in our many adventures.

"It was just what I needed."

8.0

I loved the atmosphere and how the bank vault door is still there.

Our TV didn’t work but with so much around we didn’t even need it.

"Not good"

2.0

I don’t usually post reviews but I was fooled by this hotel and don’t want others to be too. There is not much I can say that’s good. The only thing somewhat redeeming is the uniqueness of the building. It used to be an old bank. However, there is so much more that could be done to preserve the history of it while keeping it updated and clean and that is definitely lacking. The bar in the hotel looks very cool. However, they only offer some snacking options and no real meals. The outdoor of the hotel looks like a run down building- dirty awning, etc. The outside almost makes the hotel look like it’s not even in operation. When we were checking in we waited at the front desk for a good 5 minutes before anyone ‘greeted’ us. Mr. White was on duty and could not have been more unfriendly or unwelcoming. It was actually super awkward how he treated us. Upon checking into our room we both commented that we had an uneasy feeling. The hotel was dark and dreary. The hallways and furniture were worn and dirty. Our room had an odor. It was very outdated. It was very hard to get comfortable as it had an overall feeling of being unclean. The couch in our room was filthy- we never even touched it. The whole hotel has very little attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and upkeep and decor. The breakfast….ugh. It was very poorly stocked- the ‘hot’ breakfast items almost always had items missing from It. The ‘hot’ items were actually all cold, every time. It was gross and probably unsafe. Our family travels a ton for both business and pleasure. We stay exclusively at Marriotts. This was so disappointing. When we checked out I breathed a sigh of relief that I didn’t have to go back.

"There is power in kindness, empathy and gratitude. Residence inn you showed no power"

2.0

On January 21st, my family and I were relocated to your hotel by Allstate following an unexpected gas leak at our home. Given Allstate’s promise of being “in good hands,” we expected a welcoming and professional experience during this stressful time. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of that expectation. Upon arrival, we were greeted by John, one of the hotel managers, who was polite and professional. During the check-in process, Brad, another manager, joined us at the front desk. When I inquired about a wheelchair for my child, who had a prior injury and would need assistance during our three-night stay, Brad responded curtly, stating, “I’ll have to check our basement.” While I nodded in agreement, this response lacked the empathy or immediacy we expected Additionally, as first-time visitors to your hotel, we were unfamiliar with the layout. As the check-in process continued, my family and I were left feeling unsupported. We were uncertain about the direction to the elevators, as John and Brad remained silent and did not offer guidance. It was only when we observed another family exiting the elevators that we were able to locate them ourselves. I found this lack of assistance shocking and remarked, “Where is your hotel etiquette? Guests deserve proper direction. Instead of addressing this constructively, Brad dismissively replied, “I did not check you in.” We were assigned rooms on the 13th and 15th floors, but only one elevator was operational for the entire duration of our stay. With hundreds of guests sharing one working elevator, this created constant delays and frustration. The wheelchair was never provided, which left us struggling throughout our stay. His tone and attitude were completely uncalled for, leaving us feeling unwelcome and undervalued as guests. His response was unprofessional and completely failed to address my concerns. Considering the circumstances under which we were staying, the lack of assistance and empathy made an already stressful situation worse. While navigating on our own, throughout our stay; the only choice available to me was to utilize the hotel room's provided office chair. To keep up with the flow of one elevator and other present guests I parked our room's office chair behind the front desk. The evening of our check in date I had to ask the houseman for breakfast information and location, that detail was never shared at the time of check in. I hope this feedback prompts your team Brad also known as General manager to reflect on these interactions and implement necessary improvements to ensure all guests feel supported, especially those staying under emergency circumstances.

"Tiara was wonderful!!!"

8.0

Tiara was wonderful!! I went downstairs for breakfast, not realizing that it was already over, and Tiara went above and beyond by making me fresh eggs, bacon, bagel, and packaged it all up for me to go so that I could still get a bite to eat before I had to head into work for the day. It was the kindest thing and I so appreciate her!!! She truly went above and beyond in doing this for me, so appreciative and impressed by her!

"Wonderful!"

10.0

Overall great stay! Room can be a little better. But my experience was made when I was checked in by Tay. He asked about my injury and told me a few tips. Also, during the morning time I asked about the gym, unfortunately due to my injury I wasn't able to walk over. Tay then suggested Mutiple ways to get there and other physical therapy options that I was able to do inside my room. Lastly the breakfast lady was great!
