Defect in bathroom which could not be fix at time of stay. Room cleanliness average. Breakfast great food, excellent service and magnificent view!!

Overall, very pleasant stay. The hotel staff was extremely nice and helpful. Yet, there is one bad surprise happening every afternoon: imagine you are comfortably resting near the pool or having a quiet sharing moment in the restaurant, and you suddenly hear dozens of people coming for a tea set. This is the only negative point I have encountered during my stay, but it left me a mitigated impression. You suddenly feel like an animal in a zoo, as they all rush to take pictures in total rudeness of everything around you, shamelessly and constantly shout at each other for no reason. I was not expecting this kind of experience from a high class resort.

This hotel is very beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. However the room had a big ant problem and after mentioning it to the staff three times, no action was taken.

45 mins away from the town tho, but its good if u want to stay in resort just to relax.

The Veranda's infinity pool is to die for, for its spectacular view and that's about it. In the infinity pool itself there's floor tiles that are coming off which I scraped my fat toe in. I stayed at the scenery room which was too dark for my liking, there's not enough light in the room. My stay was good except that it's not really a 5 star hotel as they state in my opinion they need start renovating before such a beautiful hotel continues to fall apart on them. I would not stay here again but I don't regret staying just because of the breathtaking views and the staff was nice. We had a few issues with our food orders because they would understand one thing even showing them the menu and pointing it out with my finger but there was never problem in them taking back what we did not order and in giving us the right food. Tip for the ladies take your own shampoo, the shampoo never removed any of my hair oil only made it worse, it wouldn't even produce shampoo suds so I had to buy my shampoo in a local market.

The hotels architecture is nicely designed and it has a great rooftop pool, with fantastic views across the surrounding hills. Unfortunately this was let down by two factors. Firstly we found the food below par compared to other hotels we visited in Thailand. This was especially the case with the room service, which we found to be really poor. Secondly due to the remote location we found a huge spider and giant gecko in our room.

The hotel environs are breathtaking. Relaxing, tranquil, and great food. But the near thing about this hotel is their gracious service. When we dropped our credit card in the car ride departing the hotel, they brought it to our new hotel in Chiang Mai!

Awesome hotel, great comfortable room and restaurant food was stellar
