L'Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa

This is our first time in Jersey and we were not disappointed. This hotel is amazing, the staff were all very wonderful they all made us feel special. The room was lovely but the bed was a little bit uncomfortable for me but this is really down to personal preference. All the meals that we had were delicious and well presented. The fridge was as always stocked with bottles of water and Jersey Milk in a carton and not in little pots which was a nice touch. We ordered Room Service a couple of times and that was very good also. I would definitely recommend this hotel, our room had an ocean view which was so nice and hearing the sea was so calming and relaxing.

Another wonderful stay at this great hotel. Fantastic location in St Brelade's Bay with amazing views. The service is excellent with efficient, attentive and friendly staff. We were always greeted with a smile. Special thanks to Andrei, Julia, Rozena and the Concierge team for looking after us.

POSITIVES -great room I booked a deluxe room for solo use.lovely and clean, and cleaned to a high standard each day,shower excellent, staff polite and friendly.Spa great NEGATIVES - on the Hotels website the deluxe room as advertised as having a dvd/cd player in the room - no dvd/cd player. I mentioned it to the guy on reception and he just shrugged his shoulders I was quite shocked at this as not the four star service I expected. On the website states room service 24 hours it’s NOT only 12.00pm-10.00pm. Again on the website stated all hot breakfast food cooked fresh. It’s not full English is a buffet. Even the menu on your breakfast table states all freshly cooked which it is if you want a special meal I was NEVER once asked if I wanted EG eggs Benedict or advised what the breakfast special was.Plenty of choice for breakfast cereals pastries etc but service is lacking. Breakfast is served 7.30-10.00. I went down at 7.40 no waiting staff to be seen the chef had to go and get the waiting staff. No one seems to be in charge who ever is available will seat you. In previous 4 star hotels there was a manager who took you to your table then staff would ask if you wanted tea/coffee etc. I ordered a sandwich with a side of chips in the bar. Sandwich arrived and was very nice loads of filling but no chips I just assumed staff had forgot to order no problem but I was half way through the sandwich when chips arrived. They should have come together. While I did enjoy my holiday I will not be rushing back to L’ Horizon.

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at this hotel. We thought the service particularly at breakfast was first class. All the staff went out of their way to help and support which we really appreciated. Amardo gave us a great welcome upon arrival happy to show us around and answer our questions. We had a great room with view of the beach and loved being able to get on to the beach so easily from the hotel. Definitely want to return and next time will try and get across to Guernsey too!

I stayed two nights with my son. I’m not sure if other rooms were available, but it seemed the only twin rooms have a view of the car park. I would have liked to have had a better room with a twin bed option so we could have a sea view or a balcony even. That said, the room was ok, if not on the small side. The TV was the smallest I’ve seen in a hotel for a long time, with limited channels. Nor was there any option to sign in to Netflix or Amazon as you find with modern tvs. This was a shame and really needs updating. As does the 1970’s phone in the room. Food was very good. It would be nice for room service later that 10pm and also to have a later breakfast cut off of 10am. Bed was the most comfortable I’ve been in at all. Excellent. And staff were very friendly and professional. Definitely stay again.

I have always loved this hotel and the spa facilities. My partner spoilt me with a treatment plus afternoon tea and I wanted to take the time to say how wonderful our experience was. I had Celine for my massage and facial. She is incredible and really puts you at ease. I have had many massages in the past and can easily say Celine is the best! Our afternoon tea was also delicious and all the staff were lovely.

Fabulous hotel set on a beautiful beach. Excellent room and facilities. Staff are plentiful and very attentive. The lovely receptionists, Violet gave us an excellent overview of the island bus system and bus app. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back again.
