Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancun - Adults only

We had an amazing anniversary trip to Secrets Maroma! The resort was stunning and the staff were incredible. We wanted to give a special shoutout to Roberto our concierge in building 25, as he was one of the nicest people and willing to go above and beyond in his job. He really wants everyone to have a great time and that shows. Also, William at Seaside was our favorite waiter, fantastic at his job and just nice to have a conversation with. We highly recommend Secrets Maroma to anyone who wants a relaxing time in a beautiful location, with superb service.

Secrets Maroma Beach was the nicest resort we have ever stayed at. Staff was especially kind and timely with all requests. Our concierge, Angel Lopez, was very kind and helpful when we needed assistance. Overall amazing experience at this resort and we will be coming back!

The most amazing stay and location, unable to fault it. The staff are second to none. The team at breakfast Freddie, Alejandro, Roberto and Lucio always met us with a smile. Hugo, Mr G and the poolside lunch team were also incredible. There was always such a vibrant atmosphere, created by the incredible activities team (special thanks to Daniel, Angel, Oscar, Emmy, Alejandra). The dining experience at night was always outstanding and we had great service from Hector, Gabriel, Angel, Salvador and William during our stay! We tried every restaurant and loved all. Our room was beautiful and so spacious, with a fabulous view and the housekeeping team provided a great turn down service. The le labo toiletries are a great touch. Can’t thank the secrets team enough for our experience, we were celebrating an anniversary and birthday and can’t wait to come back.

Our trip to Secrets Maroma Beach was perfect. Me, my wife and daughters have never experienced this level of hospitality before. Everything from the hospitality to the endless thoughtful touches to the beautiful grounds and design elements really makes a huge difference when you are burnt out and need a vacation. Not once did we feel any sort of grudging compliance or insincerity, not even remotely. All of the workers seem genuinely glad that you’re there with them. Our concierge, Roberto, was a big help from the minute we arrived and always had good suggestions and advice. He made our stay so easy, we didn’t have to stress about anything. He even brought us a bottle of aloe gel to use as much as we wanted when he noticed our sunburns. We never asked for it, he just sensed the need and filled it graciously. This guy is going places in life. Julio by the pool was always there at the right time with a big smile and excellent service. When I was considering where to book our all inclusive trip several months ago, one thing that seemed to stand out when I was researching and reading reviews for Maya Riviera resorts vs Dominican Republic resorts, there one thing that stood out was how the Mayan Riviera resorts in particular Secrets Maroma Beach excels in hospitality in every way. I never really considered this a highly important factor. But now I know what it’s like to be treated like a loved guest or family member. No exaggeration. Highly recommend this resort. The food was great, we chose the Preferred Club option and took advantage of the Preferred Club lounge and dining options. This simply made us all feel spoiled, in the best way. My favorite dining options were the seaside grill restaurant (part of the Oceana restaurant building) and frankly, the pool side grill (the best burger I’ve ever had at a beach resort) and wood fired oven pizza. Several times they had pop up dining options like a bbq and tacos which we also enjoyed. The resort entertainment team does a great job of always having fun and interesting things to do of you’re getting tired of the pools. Only negative? Sargassum. We enjoyed the beach chairs and service on the beach, but never got in because of that dang sargassum. Even Florida is getting it now. The resort made a noble effort to keep the beach clear of it, but there’s only so much that can be done. This is a problem for the beautiful Caribbean in general.

Secrets Maroma was an absolutely amazing experience for me and my wife. We went for our honeymoon and my birthday and Roger and Hugo really made our experience so amazing. I can’t remember everyone’s name but the team that surprised me with the live birthday song and dessert truly made my birthday even more special on Mexico night. Roger and Hugo will be the reason we come back for our next trip. Thank you to the whole Secrets Maroma team for making this stay so special. PS: It is well worth it to pay for the preferred experience. It really takes your stay to the next level.

Amazing service. Staff was incredible and it felt like I was on a different planet. Mauricio (concierge) , Roberto (concierge) and Julio (server) made our trip even better. Mauricio provided me with sunscreen one day when I got too much sun. He allowed me to have the sunscreen for the rest of the day. Mauricio engaged in great concentrations with me and taught me a lot about Mexican culture and history. He made our entire trip himself. He works so so hard - everyone too, but him especially was providing exceptional service to our family. Roberto noticed my dad and I got very burnt and he texted us and asked if we wanted alo Vera and he dropped it off to our room. Julio was INCREDIBLE and always seemed so happy. His service was so fast and amazing. All of the staff truly look so happy and you can tell they love what they do. The food was also amazing. My favorite was the Italian restaurant. We ate at the French, Mexican and Italian and then the Mexican fiesta party on the first night. The Italian was my favorite, we ate their 2 nights!! I loved the fettuccine Alfredo, it was perfectly cooked. We stayed in the preferred rooms and all of the amenities that came with it were incredible - definitely recommend upgrading if you want to have high end drinks, small bites in the lounge, breakfast 4 steps outside of your room. Theres also a beach lounge with the preferred club and it was heavenly. I could go on and on. It was my birthday when we were there and every single time I went somewhere they would remind me and tell me happy birthday. I went to the silent disco one night and they all remembered my name from the beach and how it was my birthday the following day. I also celebrated my college graduation and they remembered and even hung up a congratulations graduate sign on our front door! They asked us in the beginning of the trip and we all just said life in general but I also noted i just graduated. The attention to detail and how much they remember is truly remarkable. The beach, the food, the drinks, the service, the staff, the music, activities and everything else. Truly best vacation we have done in years!!! First all inclusive and first time in Mexico and it over exceeded my expectations, and my families as well

My husband and I stayed at Secrets Maroma for our honeymoon, and it exceeded every expectation we had. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt completely taken care of. We had the ocean front preferred club room with the most incredible view. Check-in and check-out were both quick and seamless, and we were greeted with drinks as soon as we arrived. Erik, our bellhop, was incredibly friendly, helped us get settled, and arranged a golf cart ride to our room. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful. The landscaping is immaculate, and it is clear how much pride the staff takes in maintaining the property. Everywhere we looked felt like paradise. The food was outstanding. Our favorite restaurant was the Mexican restaurant, we loved it so much that we ate there twice during our stay! The wood-fired pizzas by the pool were amazing, and the daily lunch buffets offered a great variety of delicious options. The paella was my husband’s favorite meal of the trip. The variety and quality of food throughout the resort were excellent, and we were impressed with every meal. The entertainment was also fantastic. The silent disco was one of the highlights of our trip and so much fun. The nightly shows were great, and the rock show was absolutely incredible. What truly sets this resort apart is the staff. Bramdon Gomez, our building concierge, was exceptional. He checked in with us multiple times each day, made sure we had everything we needed, restocked our room multiple times a day, and always went above and beyond with a smile. Ana, our poolside waitress, was amazing. She remembered our drink orders every day, was always friendly, and even brought us double drinks before taking her breaks so we would never have to wait. Alexis was our favorite waiter at the Preferred Club breakfast and always provided excellent service. Franco, the pool concierge, was wonderful and helped make our pool days even more relaxing. The entertainment team was also outstanding. Brown Sugar (Angel) kept everyone laughing and engaged, and Isabel and Monica took the time to sit and talk with us, making us feel like more than just guests. No detail went unnoticed. Whether it was cleaning our sunglasses by the pool, bringing drinks and food, helping schedule spa treatments, or simply greeting us with a smile (and remembering our names), every staff member made us feel special. The spa was beautiful, and the sports massages were incredible, one of the most relaxing experiences of the entire trip. This was the perfect honeymoon, and the staff truly made the experience unforgettable. We cannot wait to return to Secrets Maroma.

We had the most amazing time at the Secrets Maroma resort. The staff were all such lovely people and incredibly helpful. Hector are concierge was fantastic & so informative, making sure we knew about each and every activity, show, and experience that was taking place that day so as not to miss out. He also helped us to surprise our parents for their wedding anniversary & arranged for champagne to be delivered to their room which was a lovely gesture. Hugo, Angel, and Mr G to name but a few were also extremely welcoming and they really made such an effort to make our stay so memorable. The resort itself is absolutely magnificent, from the views to the rooms to all the facilities. We would absolutely recommend staying here & we will definitely be back ourselves.
