Resort was beautiful. Food was poor. Staff was unfriendly.

There was nothing we did not like about this beautiful property and Resort . This was a very beautiful relaxing getaway for my wife and I . We will definitely be back !!!! We loved the time we spent here .

Beautiful property, amazing service and so quiet!!!!

This resort truly surprised us. First off I would like to say that we stayed at the Mi Hotelito room. I heard they have been the most recently renovated. It was a beautiful room that felt like a tropical getaway. The location was prime! That was our favorite part. We loved hanging out on our little patio and still received butler service there. Service everywhere was outstanding. Staff were always very happy to help. The food was the best we've had at an all-inclusive. It's a smaller resort and no buffet, so everything is cooked fresh. We usually get tired of the food by the end but not here. Chips and salsas to begin most meals. There are lots of Mexican options on the menu. We once went to a resort in Mexico with no Mexican restaurant, and it was so disappointing. El dorado maroma felt very Mexican and not just like an American resort in Mexico. We loved all the Mexican touches here. We wish they would do away with needing reservations at the restaurants. Felt very unnecessary. The beach was beautiful, but I will admit it's not exactly the type of beach I enjoy. I love swimming in the ocean. This was pretty shallow, and they had black metal lumps in the water that were pretty unsightly. The loungers are also kept pretty far back. It would have been nice if they were closer to the water. I still enjoyed it nonetheless. The paddleboarding and kayaks were free and made the ocean very enjoyable. There was never a wait to use them. While paddleboarding, I saw starfish, a sting

Took my mom here for her 60th birthday for a mother-daughter trip. This resort is a smaller boutique-like resort right on the beach. Overall this was a spectacular experience. There were a few hiccups like the jacuzzi tub not working in our room but after letting the staff know they sent someone to fix it. The food is amazing! What makes this place wonderful is the friendly staff. There is not really any night life or late-night entertainment or shows here but this is more a place to relax. The beach is definitely the most beautiful in Mexico and there is wait-staff on the beach to serve drinks. Thoroughly enjoyed this place but this place is definitely a place of rest and relaxation and not a place to come for a party. 10/10 would come back!

Wonderful boutique adults only resort. Delicious food and drink and service felt genuine and welcoming. Highly recommend this if you like a smaller, more personalized scale of resort and experience.

The resort is located on a beautiful, clean beach. The dining and bar options are included and all very delicious. We chose the package with included excursions that were all great and loved the organized transportation to and from the excursions and the airport. Top notch trip! and

Beautiful property

We had an amazing vacation at El Dorado Maroma. The resort far exceeded our expectations. Lomas Hospitality was there to pick us up at the airport and got us to the resort without any issue. We were fortunate that we were to only ones in our shuttle going to the resort and going back to the airport. The staff were all so wonderful. Carlos at Lima Limon was there every morning to greet us for breakfast. What a special person! Carlos and Karen at Bar "24" knew exactly what we wanted. Rene was always there when we needed a drink on the beach then he was there at the restaurants at night still taking care of everyone. Bladimir and Juan were always attentive at lunch at Papitos. Marlene at Mio was super sweet taking care of us at dinner. I also want to give a big thank you to Fernanda. She was the hostess at Papitos and also at Lima Limon. She remembered our room number after the first day. There were many others that were so special. The food was exceptional. Definitely gourmet and so delicious. We also did a couples massage at Naay Spa. It was a nice experience. Everything as so clean too. Our room was made up daily with fresh towels. Then when we departed and arrived at the airport Lomas Hospitality walked us in the airport and got us checked in and made sure that there wasn't anything else that they could do for us. What a wonderful experience. We will be back for sure. I would highly recommend this property.
