Luton Hotel

Run down building in a run down area. Beds were uncomfortable too.

I only booked this out of emergency but was poor hotel, perhaps 2.0 rather than 3.0. Lacked general maintenance. From entrance to carpets to shower!

l found the staff very helpful, they just coudn't do enough for me. I have Motor Neurone Diseas, which restricts my walking, the lift button was not working on the second floor, but l was told to phone reception any time l needed to get to the ground floor, and they would send the lift to the second floor for me , which they willingly did. l found it a bit far out, as l didn't have a car, but that would be the only complaint l would have about it.

A cheap hotel, but nonetheless no excuse for dreadful state of carpets in the public areas and staircases. The car park is not lit and contains an old wreck.

Lovely guy on reception. Very helpful. Lovely room.

Great value at the price. Staff very friendly and always chatty. Plenty of parking on site, I stayed here as I was going to Luton Town to watch the football. Ten minute walk and felt perfectly safe. Only negative was the tired and creaky lift. Would use again in the future.

Terrible in are room we had hanging light from the ceiling with massive holes, the pillows where horrible bed was uncomfortable hair dryers never worked you can hear everything throw the walls, shower didn't drain properly, my ohither half went to bar they didn't no prices of drinks and the till wasn't working my other half then sat on the chair at reception and the leg snapped off, then we got a room change witch was just as bad it smelled off drugs badly are room never had number on it then the door for the key never worked was broken all you heard all night was the air condition and we had to get reception to let us in every time, then in mornicng we went to complain and apparently they where very sorry but couldn't give refund then said happy to give free breakfast so we took that then they said was closed and we couldn't it was a night mare all we wanted was good night sleep before we went on again but no everything was night mare, I wouldn't recommend this place to no one if do make sure they gonna give you refund if you have a bad night, I wouldn't recommend this to family or with child it's a health a safety waiting to happen

Room spacious and looked good but the only heating was a noisy electric fan. Floors must have been quite thin as it was very noisy due to the person above having a heavy tread and being noisy until the early hours. The hotel was Handy for the airport with a good carpark and no trouble exiting at 5a.m due to 24 hour reception. The bathroom looked good initially with a large shower cubicle but it needed cleaning around the corners and fixtures and a couple of broken tiles should be replaced. Washbasin very small.
