Ameristar Casino Resort and Spa

I love staying at the Ameristar on my visits to STL. The rooms are so spacious and luxurious.

Nice hotel,except for very few extras...we spent a lot of money in the casino,and would think they could provide free breakfast...called front desk and was given restaurant hours outside hotel..room didnt even have a microwave to warm up carryout from night before..less expensive hotels have much more to offer

Unacceptable that for this price, NO MICROWAVE IN ROOM! Also under 21 not allowed in any pool at anytime! So do not come here with your Family! Also, only a couple Resteraunts allow kids

Always clean and spacious. Plenty of restaurants and free parking. Very safe area

The room was nice. WiFi was terrible. The website advertised that a refrigerator and microwave came with the room. There was only a refrigerator. When I called to asked about a microwave I was told they could bring one to our room for an additional $30/night.

Stayed here as there was a concert at Ryse Nightclub we attended. Booked over month in advance. Price swing for the night was pretty substantial but expected for big name concert at nightclub. Pool was alright. Rooms were clean. Thing that disappointed me the most was no amenities or perks whatsoever. Casino free plays? Nope. Complimentary dinner or alcoholic beverages? Guess again. Complimentary BREAKFAST THAT LITERALLY EVERY OTHER HOTELS SERVE….nope. Whenever I asked hotel staff about these she seemed offended I even asked. Stayed at a Drury Inn 20 minutes away from 4 years ago and got service and amenities mentioned above. We won’t be back to this “4 1/2 star hotel“. Want breakfast Waffle House down the street was good.

WIFI HORRENDOUS EVEN AFTER I WAS MADE TO PAY $10 for each device for each of the 4 days I stayed there. It made for a miserable time as I had business calls (as well as personal calls). I can never stay at one of your resorts for this reason. I have never experienced this before. We are in 2025 (not 1999). Wake up please

I WAS INTENTIONALLY RIPPED OFF HERE LAST NIGHT !!!!!! I was playing bubble craps and finally starting to go on a run after losing a few days in a row. I had a considerable amount of money on all the numbers and hit a 6 which should have paid me well when the machine spit out a small ticket and cleared the board on me. The first guy came over and used his fab to roll the dice until a seven came up and then stopped, the next guy came over and said " look you had a seven ". I took photos of it however as I suspected they may try that when the machine went down. When that didn’t work for them they started claiming the machine is broken and they don’t know what happened. Also had one of them suggest maybe that happens when you get over 3k although nothing about that is posted on the machine or anywhere else. They then proceeded to start negotiating with me asking what it would take for me to leave after going back and forth with their BS for an hour. I took considerably less than what I was winning as I wasn’t left much of a choice. I am filing a formal complaint with the Missouri gaming commission. I will never go back and suggest you stay far away, if you actually do win they will screw you.

Worst stay you can have with a family. They only allowed 4 people per room at the swimming pool, we are a family of 6, no advertisement on the website regarding this. Other issues they refuse to serve you with. DO NOT GO HERE.
