Smugglers Cove Beach Resort and Hotel

Loved the chill vibes. Dinner atmosphere was awesome. Service was a 10. Would have liked more shaded areas to lounge on the beach. Also more information in our rooms in regards to room service, taxis, or other places to eat.

The location is excellent! On the beach…very clean. Room was very small. Early arrival and staff was not very accommodating as they wanted me to upgrade to a deluxe room. Customer service on check in was not the best. But other times they were nice!

Waterfront dinning location is great. Professional friendly service. Lateral rooms with views of the next building walls and others with painted window glass not view at all; should have a lower price than close to 250- 300 Fijian dollars. Spacious bathrooms, overall well maintenances clean facilities.

Overpriced! Even though the staff were lovely the service was not great.

Worst place to book. Reservations team lost our booking and tried to compensate by offering a room at the Wyndham Garden requiring us to pay and extra FJD220. During their pathetic attempt to sort out accommodation for us, not a single apology was offered nor any documented compensation process was applied. Heck, nobody even offered us a drink!

I liked all, food, shared room was all beautiful. Personel was so warm blooded.

No complaints about the food, drinks & the service out on the deck area. But the room comfort was bad & unfortunately I didn’t realise the problems till going to bed. The mattress nearly had springs poking through on one side, slept on the other side but it had a huge slump in the middle, aircon was noisy, lot of light spill over at top of curtains, TV really didn’t work & only 3 channels, one ceiling light once hot turned off, cooled down turned on, off on off on etc. Bed side cabinet drawer wouldn’t stay closed, perfect to skin your leg on, sorted that with a bit of tape. Complained next day & they gave me a new room, but ceiling panels had gaps. Mosquitoes a bit of worry but I took a mozzi repellent device with me so that was sorted. The 2nd room’s light coming in over the top of the curtains was even worse. Though I’d have an afternoon nap, needed it but room next door was having tiles ripped up. Around the hotel the toilet bowls needed a good scrub. They chose the wrong person to put in a non renovated room!

Very nice staff, facilities a little tired, but the best of the 4 hotels all connected together, more active.

A great starting spot for a Fiji adventure for backpackers, students, budget travelers right on the beach. 10 mins to airport. Not really a great family stop. Think more hostel than hotel. Staff was very nice and helpful though.
